What if Cleveland had won their last game.

We would have been in the playoffs.

Would AB have shown up for practice? For the next game? Would he have been suspended?

I wonder how this would have played out? Anyone with an original thought without the repetitive whining?

Given Tomlin's stances I would say he plays, practice or not

We would have beaten the Chargers and Pats, and lost a shootout in KC. The SB would be a KC vs LA rematch.

That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.

But he didn’t play AB against Cinci. Are you thinking a change by Tomlin because it’s a playoff game? Just wondering.

We barely beat the Bengals JV team to end the season. We would have been 1 and done IMO. Just not our year.

There would have been a QB controversy in Baltimore.
People would be saying Baker is better than Ben, the Browns have arrived, etc... lol

Obviously, and without a doubt, we'd all be playing "Stairway to Seven" right now on our guitars and popping Moet corks all through the night while Hines and Bussie would be singing the Steelers praises.

OK - this is one small advantage of living out here in La La land - dope is legal and takes the edge off of sucky reality. :drinks:

I wonder how this would have played out? If the Steelers actually did not fold and won their games instead of praying the Browns did their work for them.
I wonder how this would have played out? If the Steelers players weren't self-absorb divas.
I wonder how this would have played out? If Art Rooney Jr. was the owner his father was instead of running the team like his grandfather.
I wonder how this would have played out? Mike Tomlin was a real head coach like ... you know ... Bad Bill Belichick.
I wonder how this would have played out? Kevin Colbert was a real GM like ... you know ... Bad Bill Belichick.
I wonder how this would have played out? If whining wasn't the Pittsburgh Steelers' fans pastime.

I'm betting he would have played. I think part of the reason this entire mess spun out of control is that the Brown drama happened as the team was eliminated. It was a perfect storm of crap.

i'm confident if the Browns won and we made the playoffs that we would have proceeded to fumble away another big game and lead us to the same place we are now... angry and disappointed in the franchise.

This is a very good question.
I think AB would have shown up. He’s too selfish to miss an opportunity to play in front of a national audience.
Hard to say whether he would have been allowed to play. I’d lean towards him not playing.

Since the Steelers win every game they don't play. Had Cleveand won, the Steelers would have beaten the Chargers 40-0 in WC, the Pats 50-0 in the divisional round, KC 60-0 in the AFCCG and they would set a league record by beating the Rams 74-0 in the Super Bowl on 10 TD passes from Ben to AB, and two safeties by Bud Dupree. Damn Browns they ruined everything.

I don't think we would have heard anything about that situation had we made the playoffs. Not until after the playoffs at the very least. AB would've played because he obviously gives us a much better chance of winning. Only after that would we hear rumblings that's something wrong because someone would strategically leak something about it.

And the running results are 5 intelligent thoughts vs 9 repetitive whines.

I feel sad for some of the people on this board.

Personally, it would have been a better time walking out of the stadium with my son to crazy cheering instead of the complete silence as if we were attending a funeral but it really wouldn't have made a difference in the long run. This team as it currently stands does not have what it takes to win a Championship.
