I'm through watching this game already. How in the world was that a penalty. What is the defense supposed to do ... let him catch it ... juke him and get away?! The defense job is to stop the offense by tackling them ... duh

Exactly. That drive is going nowhere but miraculously good defense becomes a penalty. Patriots go on to score probably. In a game that so often depends on a play here or a play there for a just barely win, those percentage points can make all the difference.
