I hope they go after Mosely hard. That would be a huge addition. Just can't see Ravens letting him get away.

On the offensive side of the ball, assuming they deal AB, I would look to bring Devin Funchess in. He underperformed this season after a good showing last year but I think he was featured as the number 1 this year, he wouldn't fill that role here with JuJu. He's 6'4" big bodied target for Ben.

Agree. Mosley is a dream. I just don't think Funchess provides a burner with size that we need more on the outside. Whether DHB stays or not he isn't a viable option. I can see WR being addressed somewhere in the draft targeting that specific deep threat.

No, he's slow as **** but I like these guys that are big targets for Ben that can and go get the ball. Boldin was invaluable for the Ravens.

You don't have to have a guy that can take the top off the defense but JuJu and Washington are both capable of big plays down field.

Can't see that Mosley gets away from the Ravens but that would be a sweet addition.

A guy going into his second contract, will be out of the Steelers price range, don't get your hopes up.

I think Tate will be looking to get paid still, he's still young enough to get a decent contract, he will be too pricey for the Steelers IMO.

Jaguars WR Donte Moncrief I think he will be available, has size and could be a down field target. He also won't command top FA money.

Anthony Barr, Clay Matthews, Dee Ford, Shaq Barrett, CJ Mosley, Jordan Hicks at LB Landon Collins at S and depending what happens with AB Kelvin Benjamin, Adam Humphries, Golden Tate. Bryce Callahan and Jason McCourty are a couple CB's I like too

We won't be paying Lev Bell and possibly not AB. plus we will be restructuring Bens contract.

Should be lots of extra cash.

Rodney gunter had a good season and should come cheap on the d line.

Bucannon with Barrett could make that defense work the way it is intended.

If they trade AB, they will carry dead money, so there goes that extra cash. Other teams have over 100 million in cap space, they will easily get outbid for Mosley.

Not so fast Bell's 14.5 and Shazier's 10.5 come off the books plus more cut's
from other players Steelers will unload. You get a high first round pick for AB,
The cap is rising so yes we can improve this team thru FA, Steelers just have to change their mindset
business model. And work their tails off to find players that fit.

Matthews will have to be accounted for, game planned for. Feared. An upgrade over Alvin any day.

Alvin was looking at a lot of QB's @sses being pushed into no mans land...

I would love to get Dee Ford, but his market value will be very high - maybe 5 years, $90+ million with $30+ million guaranteed. I can’t see us competing with the market for him. It’s not in this team’s nature to make that kind of move. He would look nice on the right edge in place of Dupree though.

I don’t know how cheap Humphries will be. Spotrac.com does some analytics on potential free agent contracts, and predicts a value of $10 million/year for Humphries’ next contract. I have a lot of trouble buying that his value is $10 million/year, but he probably won’t be a $3 million/year kind of guy either. Also, he’s a slot guy, and we have two guys who have played pretty well in the slot in Rogers and Switzer. I think he’s a good player, but I’m not sure he fits as the needed replacement if we trade AB away - especially if Spotrac is right about his market value (which again, I doubt). If you see him as an outside receiver, it’s a different story. I don’t.

I haven’t looked at free agent WRs yet, but I think we need to find someone who has a good track record when lining up on the outside.

Wow...Didn't realize he was " projected " to make that kind of coin

That’s only one site’s projection based on comparing his stats to similar WRs who received contracts in the past 2 years. I think it’s more than he will get in reality, but $5-6 million/year wouldn’t be surprising. He is a good player, and someone is going to need that kind of slot receiver.

We should start by compiling a list of mid-level talent that is often injured and go from there. While we have some money to spend by our usual standards there are teams out there with money to burn. That's where the elite talent will be going. Look for more dumpster diving....

I looks like we are gonna have some money so that won't be an excuse but we are never big spenders so we shall see.......
