Tampa gave up 2 firsts and a second for Gruden and Oakland gave him 100 million.. My question is what the hell makes teams believe in this guy so dam much I don't get it.. If Gruden is worth that much than I'd imagine bellichek would be worth 10 years of first round picks along with a couple human sacrifices

A year later, they (Bucs ownership) looked like geniuses. Soon afterwards, not so much. Chucky's welcome wore thin here in Tampa.

I also think a lot of teams know what he’s did with the talent he has had or acquired which amounts to making the playoffs( except this year) and out!The 2008 team was basically Cower drafted.I like Tomlin but don’t think he’s and x’s and o’s coach that can adjust well on the fly to those type of head coaches. He’s been blessed with some tremendous athletes at least on offense and think with those athletes we should of did better in the playoffs, maybe with a few Super Bowl appearances.

So the question then becomes - why have we failed so miserably (post-season, of course, dare I criticize the almighty regular season record)? Is it that our talent is always just stupid football-wise? Is it just one or two players that don't live up to their potential at critical moments? A combination? Or something else?

You were wise for accepting my offer. The only thing I had left to offer was some toe jam:shrug:

Steelers didn't renew Tomlin, which they generally do 2 years out ( he has 1 year left ) I think this speaks volume...This is a make or break year...

    Sadly...If it's break...Ben another year older...Well, He'd be pretty much done!

Other than winning that SB, Al Davis fleeced the Bucs.

Ben is a BIG reason for our postseason record. But yes, our defense is on Tomlin.

I'm not on the Tomlin pitch fork committee.

    But I am with Antonio..

Trade him though.. Get PICKS.. << help offset the cap hit.

I'm entirely serious. Brown's most recent antics prove he's not worth to be paid as the 2nd highest paid WR in the NFL.

And the Steelers were too nice to him to give him the opportunity.
