He has declared. Is he worth taking a shot at? He could sit behind Ben and learn for awhile. Thoughts?

    No.

For that matter, drafting Dwayne Haskins is essentially pulling a "Pittsburgh Pirates" move. In addition, that also defeats the purpose of drafting Mason Rudolph. That being said, should the team be looking into Quarterback Prospects via the Pro Day visits, I will have concerns as that tells me that Mason has not yet adapted quick enough to the NFL.

There is no way I would draft him, not cause I don't like him but cause there is no need for him. We drafted a QB the last 2 years if we draft a QB this year I am going postal. We have so many more needs a QB in rounds 1-6 is not one of them, I would not be against a 7th round flier but not something I want. ILB, OLB, CB, S, and maybe WR depending what happens with AB are all positions to consider in the first 3 rounds AND beyond. I also feel RB after round 3 but not before as well as OG and OT.

Just say not to Haskin......or any other QB in rounds 1-6!!!!!!! jmo Just say No

Where do fans come up with stuff? We just drafted 2 QBs in the last 2 drafts, and still have Ben, and OP wants to draft a QB who will go in the top 10. We need defense, enough with using these high picks on offense.

Win #7 next year, Ben rides off into the sunset, go 0-16 in 2020, draft Trevor Lawrence and win SB #8, #9, #10, etc.

If anything, I think we should trade our 1st rd pick this year and next year for 1st rounders in 2021 plus additional picks we can get.

Then we would have 3 first rd picks to move up for Trevor Lawrence. If Ben quits after next year, let Rudolf start for a year
or sign a vet for a couple years.

    You gotta plan plan ahead.

I dont want to watch another 20 year cavalcade of bums, like we had through almost the entire 80's and 90's, after Ben is gone. Whether or not it's going to be this kid or not, the point is that I hope they have a little better plan than they did for 20 years before they lucked into Ben. I don't need to go through the names, or lack thereof. I'm sure you know the list. I don't have the patience for more Kent Grahams.

We can stockpile all the picks we want, but if the team drafting #1 when Lawrence comes out wants him, they are free to ignore our trade offer and draft him.

I wouldn't. He's not projected to be there but even if he were, I wouldn't. I saw him in the PSU game this year and he was terrible when under pressure. I don't think he'll be that great of an NFL QB.

He is worth it imo. But we have Ben, and by the time we are ready to part ways there will be other QBs through the draft in the future. Right now we need to build that defense to make a run.

If they are not pleased with the backups, I like Manny Wilkins as a QB who is athletic, competitor, and with a strong arm, and performed okay in college. He is not a top of the draft guy, but I think he is a good later rounds or UDFA propspect, at the level of Josh Allen, Darnold, to groom for a few years.
I like Rudolph, I think he is excellent.

It should be interesting to see what Foles does, or maybe I should rephrase
    this NYG & Jags do.
