We don't need to see this matchup every season, it's not even much of a rivalry .

The schedule is determined by a formula based on where teams finished. The rivalry has nothing to do with it.

Did you mean that the Colts need a new offensive line? Apparently, you haven't seen the Colts this season.

The Browns are reading this thread saying, "we will see".

I think Luck was sacked the least in the league!

Only Steelers fans see a rivalry. Pat's not so much a rivalry but a gimme. They view us as we view the Bengals.

If we're freezing our team in time *right now*, then yes, it's going to be another rough season of disappointments and letdowns.

But it's too early to make such predictions. A lot is (hopefully) going to happen between now and Sept.

Well at least that would put a team in the cheats division that could beat a division III college program.

I already told you guys: the Steelers will be battling with the Bengals for last place in the division.

Thank you Nostradamus, it's always better to know these things in advance, especially when we've been informed by you twice. This way we can plan to do more productive things next season instead of following the Steelers. BTW - who should we put our money on for the Kentucky Derby?

The Steelers are apparently going to waste their cap room on making the offense worse by trading away Antonio Brown, so no, the help isn't coming in free agency. If they can't trust the coach to fix that mess and bring Brown back, the coach should be fired.

My optimism has waned no matter what the schedule. With all the drama, retaining of coaches, the arrow is not pointing up for this team. Guess we will have to watch what the offseason brings. That and the crows and clowns will present problems to secure this division going forward.

Anywhere from 6-10 to 9-7. Bengals (new coach), Ravens and Browns will improve.. while Steelers get worse. It wouldn't surprise me if Steelers finished last in AFC North.

You're more influential around these parts than you may know HM. Lots of emerging newbies mimicking your unique convincing style. Too bad you couldn't be infecting people with something more pleasant and likable...say like Ebola? ;)

It's not some huge, cutting-edge revelation by any stretch. The Steelers are going to get worse before they get better. It's gonna take a few down years to completely clean house and get a better coaching staff and acquire championship caliber talent. I thought it might happen this year, but we're gonna see more of the same. Steelers will lose to bottom feeders they should beat in 2019 (Jets, 49ers and Cardinals)... and finish 3rd or 4th in the AFC North. The inmates will continue to run the asylum.

This year was a lot like 2009 when so many things went wrong. There is still talent though and this team can be a playoff team next season.

I know, that's why it hurts so much every time you start typing. So you're saying that 2019 will be THE year to drop the Sunday Ticket package? So what long shot team do I put the cost savings on in Vegas to win the SB this next season? Browns?

2009 was worse because Steelers still had 95% of their Super Bowl XLIII roster. 2018, in reality, was no big surprise... while '09 was shocking. We've seen the continuous trends of losing to bottom feeders and defense imploding in the 4th quarter since the '09 season.

How do you suggest Tomlin "fixes that mess"? Bow before Antonio and plead forgiveness for not adorning his excellence?

Antonio Brown led the team in targets even with him sitting out a game when the Steelers needed him most. I wonder how many less picks Ben would have thrown if had not attempted to force it to Brown attempting to accommodate his demands?

Anyone that thinks this is on Tomlin is a fool. The only mistake Tomlin made was giving Antonio Brown a chance and trusting he'd behave like a grown ass man.

To keep him on the team now it'll be Le'veon Bell Holdout 2.0. More BS drama and it's all on Antonio Brown.

Would it surprise you if they finished first?
