Trade him to Arizona for Patrick Peterson straight up, they have a young QB who needs a big time WR, Fitzgerald will probably retire. Arizona said they weren't trading Peterson during last season, but you offer them a All Pro WR they might change their mind. It's a win win for both teams, the Steelers need CB help and they need a WR, hell I would throw Artie Burns in the trade also. Or call the 49ers ask for ILB Fred Warner and a second round pick for AB.

Throw Larry Fitzgerald in that deal as well so we have someone who can be a stop gap number 2 receiver for a year

AB is one of the best wide receivers in the league. Anything less than a 1st round pick plus a starting caliber player is a non-starter.

His issues aside, don't underestimate the egos of NFL coaches and GM's. Everyone will think they can fix him. Who knows, maybe a change of scenery will fix him.

John Lynch might entertain that idea; pounce on it even. Heck, having Fred Warner solves so many issues with the linebacking corps already. Use that second round pick as either more ammo or acquire a first round talent in the top half of Round Two.

Now, all that said, I would not trade Antonio Brown for anything less than a First Round Pick. If it is merely the pick, so be it. Brown's antics have not assisted his trade value any. His talent might supercede that though in the end.

They absolutely can trade him...The cap hit would be 6 million

If I'm a buyer, I'll give you no more than a 2nd rounder for him, since I'm assuming the salary and the risk of an aging problem child. Not enough? Fine, you can keep him.

The cap hit number comes from 21 mil in bonus he has already received..but we we spread over next 3 years....if we trade or cut it all becomes due for dead money hit...per CBA, however; he is also due 15 mil for his 2019 salary that we would no longer have to pay him..so it offsets to only 6 mil dead money.....thats doable for a trade

I don't know how it could not be the case. The numbers are what they are. You can't change that.
IZONUFOTO pointed out some of the offsets but you still need to deal with the numbers.

But if you get a starter along with the pick you pick up some of that salary as well no? Thanks for the explanation though. I appreciate it

Come draft day there will be offers from teams willing to give up a 1st rounder drama and all. The interest will be more than what Bell garnered.

we went the entire season sitting on Bells 14 mil.. and they get to use that next year....im sure they can eat 6 mil dead money for 2019 especially with the CAP being close to 190 mil

I would expect nothing less than a 1 and a 3 for Brown.

I would then take the 1 and trade it for some more picks. To me picks are where it is at. The more picks you have the more flexibility you have to move up or down.

Send him to the rams for LaMarcus Joyner and a 2nd rd pick

    Or

To the Vikings for Xavier Rhodes and a 2nd rd and 4th rd pick

If the Steelers put AB on the market, teams will line up for him. You're crazy if you think otherwise.
