From all accounts....Ben said that they were good Thursday morning. Soon after that the MVP was announced. He hasn't been back since. He won't return calls. He won't return texts. He wore a mink coat on the sideline instead of Steeler gear. He didn't stand with the team. Its reported that he feels unappreciated.

This is him lashing out at his teammates for him losing the popularity contest of MVP.

Im telling you, he's the epitome of a millennial snowflake.

 

I think losing Brown would be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully that would lead to less passing and more running.

 

Blame Tomlin. Tomlin lied to the man. He kept telling him he was going to play but that was obviously BS.

You don't lie to players. Coaches need to be honest. Harrison is a former MVP, he deserved the truth.

Im just looking at it from an overall cost perspective.

Example....
if cap is $200M and AB is traded, then they only have $180M to spend. But separately you have to factor in Bells relief so it would go back up to $194M.
Essentially what you would be doing is using Bells relief money to lessen the blow of Browns dead money.

I'm not a Tomlin fan and I admit he's part of the problem. But I can know that and also look at how these guys are acting and hearing who they really are and realize he did a pretty good job keeping it together for as long as he did. What? You think some hard ass coach was going to keep them happy? LOL AB got mad because his boyfriends weren't allowed on the field during training camp. You think Belichick wouldn't do the same thing?

I don't really blame Tomlin for these idiots. They seemed perfectly fine with him until he cracked down on them.

Harrison was a great player but he held on too long. It's not Tomlin's fault for not playing the guy when he was clearly done. Should he have played Harrison when there were better options (and yes Dupree was a better option, because unlike Harrison he could actually stay within five yards of someone he was trying to cover)?

We live in an era where it's much easier for players to boost their profile and egos with social media. It sucks, but this is going to be the new norm.

 

I don't think some hard-ass coach would have just sat there and taken it, like MT does. I think he would've kicked JH to the curb after a stern warning. I think he would've nipped the whole AB thing in the bud the instant he FB-lived the locker room. But they didn't stop, because the guy at the top has no control.
