From Ed Bouchette.. AB's bottom line number on the cap is this. His cap hit if he is traded is 21 Million BUT his salary and roster bonus savings is 15 Million, so only a 6 Million hit at the end of the day. If they can get some good assets back, do it up.

Ryan Shazier would give anything to play again yet AB is given everything, refuses to practice and is a dick. Come on, man. This all comes a huge AB fan. I’m devastated but this is selfish.

 

Steelers can survive and thrive without AB, IMO. Steelers will fold again unless the defense is upgraded at ILB, Safety, CB and OLB.

 

While this is true, what good is all of that hard work if you have the brain of a rock? What is the purpose of all of this work? It should be to do your part to help your team win championships. But his goal appears to just be rich and famous. He’s not a team player, therefore he’s useless to a team.

 

Correction: he's useless to our team, from a cohesiveness standpoint. But don't think for a moment that someone like the Pats won't pick him up in a heartbeat, and promptly murder us with him every season afterwards.

As long as that team protects his delicate feelings. But if not, look out, he will turn on them too. Players like that typically don’t help teams win. They aren’t concerned about the team. It’s all about them.

 

This is most of the guys in sports these days. Social media has turned into players worrying about their brand. You dont have to win anymore to be a superstar.
