    Just curious:

Do you expect any surprise coming out of Tomlin's season-ending presser tomorrow?
If so, which one? -if other, elaborate!

Tomlin talks in cliches that no one can understand & tries to trip La Canfora on his way out.

Not that I expect it tomorrow, but soon afterwards Butler and Smith are shown the door.

And that is the totality of the "changes" for this offseason, sadly.

I agreed with this not to long ago but something bothers me that Butler might stay.

To go along with the title of this post... nothing would surprise me less.

The only real surprise tomorrow would be MT resigning, or AR2 coming to the podium to announce he's canned MT. But not going to happen. (Would be interested to see what Vegas has to say about the odds)

I'm thinking he addresses the elephant in the room.....after all we are playing NE again next year. Might as well start looking past everyone else now.

Seriously if he doesn't put most of the blame on himself and the coaches I'm gonna be livid.

He's not capable of fixing the mess, whether he realizes or not it starts with him. Art is the one that needs to be angry and he doesn't care.

Disclaimer: it's not my rumor and you can take it with a grain of salt....

but while perusing the comments over at BTSC someone was claiming he had some inside sources that were saying that there is indeed some tension between the FO and Tomlin. Now seeing that Tomlin is giving his press conference it's pretty safe to assume he's not going anywhere but at least according to this guy there is dissension in the ranks. The guy commenting wasn't bragging about it he sounded like he was being truthful. He wasn't trying to insinuate anything just that he's heard there is a rift. Why knows stay tuned...

Yeah man, I don’t think we hear about anyone being canned or retired until later in the week. I think he’s still doing exit interviews and evals.

Haley's departure was announced mid January. We may have to wait a while for any news.

It's the Steeler (read: Rooney) way. The waters are all choppy and full of chum right now, they are going to wait until that chop subsides and quietly part ways with a few select personnel and move on. It will be a by-line.

Yeah somebody questioned the guy on whether it was like last year with the minority owners and he said it wasn't that it was with the FO

I mean, who knows. If ownership is paying attention at all they can't be happy about missing the playoffs and the constant personnel issues, regardless of everything else. They are so very in love with their 3-coaches-in-50-years garbage though.

Best time to fish....I hope I snag me a Butler and a Danny Smith for now. I really hope Munchak gets thrown back. He's our best catch and at the same time one of our only keepers.
