I would try to trade Brown immediately. Trade him to a scrap team with a bad QB. Try to get a first round pick or a good defensive back.
Don't let this cancer grow. Whats the difference between 4-12 and 9-6-1? Both don't get you in the playoff's. Don't start another season with all this drama bull**t festering. F Brown. Ben is a whiny B and no leader. This team and organization is a laughing stock of the league.
    What an embarrassment.

Ryan Clark is a stand-up class act, so coming from him, those words mean a lot.
Realizing what a malignant cancer Brown is makes me even be okay with giving Tomlin another year to coach. He's so bad, you have to wonder how big of an impact his personality had on the consistency of the offense.

Is Mike Wallace or santonio Holmes going to hall? Where they at any point EVER thought of as the best wr in the NFL? Did they ever come close to the numbers ab has? Hines ward in his prime numbers doesn't even compare to AB. But just like bell now AB is no longer considered by the fans what he was because he wants out.

You're crazy if you think they'd trade the number 2 pick for AB plus AB wont be traded until.agter the draft. Pitt is not eating that 20 million in dead money. They are a cheap team.

Clark is great. He opened up about AB after the Facebook Live incident and it was eye opening to say the least. He was apparently spot on.

I wasn't aware of the cap implications in my prior post about trading him. That makes him pretty immovable.

Situation is fubar. They're going to have to all learn to play nice unless Rooneys shock the world and fire Tomlin.

You must be young. Too young to remember.

BOTH of those guys were on a great trajectory when they were with the Steelers (especially Mike Wallace) and may have eventually had that talk around them if they had stuck around long enough. Instead they each played only 4 years and vanished into mediocrity when Ben Roethlisberger quit throwing them the ball.

Cheap team? Not eating 20 mil in dead money is smart, not cheap.

That said, AB doesn't get traded. Period. He will be a Steeler next year when the season starts.

Honestly, what good does all that talent do the Steelers if he doesn’t want to play with them anymore? If they have to handle him with kid gloves because he’s so damn fragile? Same for Bell. When they become more trouble than they are worth, that talent does the Steelers absolutely no good.

He's a millennial snowflake. His feelings are hurt and he needs to retreat to his safe space.

I hope so. But what if AB decides to not show up until he's traded. With the way the whole bell saga went I sincerely doubt the team would want a situation like this to go over their head. And yes Pitt is very cheap. Just like the Pats. AB's contract was a bargain tbh compared to what others got even dez in 2014 got more guaranteed money. They are lucky he didnt holdout for more money like Julio did.

They're going to get a $14.5M exemption from Bell for next year. The effective cap hit would only be $7M. Much more palatable. I'd jump all over that instead of wasting another year of Bens final few years with bull**** and drama.

I agree. Tolerance is only high when production is high which both were for those 2. But he does do the team absolutely no good if he no longer wants to be there.

We’d need one first round pick and multiple second or third-rounders, at least. It’ll give us more ammo to miss on defensive players!

Mike Wallace was good but never was on Ab's level. Nether was Holmes who really only got claim to fame thanks to that superbowl and playoff run. He never made a pro bowl. Wallace did make one though but he was a one trick pony. He was primarily a deep threat. He never was the complete route runner ab was. Never had the hands AB had. Watch the tape. Any football person with a brain knows who AB is. Those other 2 also dont dedicate themselves and work as hard as ab does. He honestly works just as hard as anyone in the league. Stop the disrespect.

AB disrupting the whole mojo/ attitude of the team, doesn't affect the team?...

We're ****ed..He has us over a barrel...Can't trade him unless we want crippled money wise...screwed...He comes back...Acts like an ******* again, does whatever he wants...screwed...

Ain't like we can just bench him/ suspend him...I mean we could but, now you're not getting that great production from a great player, without being able to replace him because, he's still on the team...screwed!

I almost feel like it’d be worth making a huge trade, firing personnel and just overhauling the whole thing. This is pathetic. It may be a few years of terribleness, but this is almost worst. This team not winning at least one AB in the last 7+ years of being good is criminally bad.
