Stop it. Ab was already putting up all time great numbers before juju was ever even in the NFL AND without us having a reliable number 2 option when martavis Bryant was suspended over and over.

Imagine if this stuff was going on. And there was a playoff game this weekend?

Imagine if this stuff was going on and Cincy beat Pit, while Mayfield completed the comeback in Balt?

This organization is losing its respect day by day. It all started with bell.

This is what I'm talking about right here and this is what players talk about and why they show no loyalty to fans nor franchises. A guy who was a dpoy for us, an INTEGRAL part in us winning a sb, made one of the greatest plays in sb history, and is just one of the great players to ever play for Pitt and you forget all that because Tomlin lied to him. Sad. This is why I also side with players over organizations.

Ben isn't the best leader in the world either. Guys like Brady are in another world compared to him as leaders. Dont act like he isn't to blame he constantly throws people under the bus, deflects blame, got haley fired(though haley is an ahole), never takes Responsibility and deflects blame had to mention that 2x.

Yup getting tired of people rehashing Deebo and saying he was the problem. All he wanted was to play and he proved Tomlin wrong and was so happy for him even though he was in a pats jersey.

Exactly. At 40 you think the guy spent over 1 million a year on training to make sure his older body was ready to sit on the bench?

I’m so sick of these me first characters. I’d rather lose with good decent guys that win with these jerks.

Once Ben goes Tomlin has to too. Tomlin cant now after so many years try to change his Montra and think players will listen. It's too late they already look at him how they do. Have to just clean house and start over. Keep trying with Ben and Tomlin but losing bell and AB will be massive holes to fill. They are both hall of fame talents that you just dont replace overnight. Only reason Tomlin got that 1 ring he got was because we had veterans in the locker room that already knew what it took to win. Like Barry switzer with Dallas, Gruden with Tampa, seifert with San Fran etc.. Tomlin didn't have to do much and also wr had players back then that had the cache to challenge Ben. No one on this team does and his passive aggressive attitude causes problems because he gets what he wants. He's a diva too.

Time to move on. We can’t keep having this drama. Sadly I understand that moving AB makes the Steelers worse. We need to move on to the old Steelers ways, make the defense feared. Run the ball to set up the pass. Rule the TOP.
I don’t think it’s safe to have BB throwing it over 40 times a game.
AB has won us numerous games. But, we need team guys. The Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu, Heath Miller, Jerome Bettis types.

It’s the culture that Mike Tomlin has fostered with this team. In order to change things, you have got to get rid of the source. This team needs a disciplinarian. Tomlin runs a loose ship. Wholesale changes are required.

But the thing is unless bill belichick, Payton, Carroll, Pederson, or someone with their cache is available who do we have that can challenge Ben. Some young rookie coach wont reach ben in that way imo. That's why tbh even though the numbers dont differ, our offense was better last yr. Haley challenged Ben. Ben didnt get the total freedom to do as he pleases. Even Brady doesn't get to do what he wants McDaniels calls the plays. It's been several games where like the Bills one where Brady primarily just handed it off.

While i am not saying Tomlin is not at fault. The man did just bench his star player with the playoffs on the line. So to say he doesn't discipline seems off.

I think AB will be back. He works to hard to let it effect his game. I just wish he worried about W's more than his brand.

But if the offer is right. I ship him.

I've had hockey jersies over the years, so I'm all about replicas. One of my coworkers, who knows nothing about football and doesn't even watch, bought a Villanueva jersey simply because he stood during the anthem (which is a whole 'nother subject!). He got it from some Chinese knockoff site. IT's a 3X and I tried it on. Fits perfectly and looks great, so I may be going that way....I think he said it was only $20. LOL

I don’t know where we go from here but things have to change. Watching this team, it’s not like watching football anymore. It’s a freaking soap opera and I have no interest in that crap.

Its the NFL as a whole now. Players are babies. I would hate to see it in 5 more years.

While him finally doing something is good, it’s way too late don’t you think? The team is a train wreck now. It should not have gotten to this point.

    agree

    Oh ye of short memories.....
The same thing was said in 2009 about Santonio Holmes when they let him go. "Mike Wallace flourishes because of Holmes. He can never do it alone. Getting rid of Holmes is a mistake"

Then it was said again 4 years later in 2013. "Antonio Brown flourishes because of Mike Wallace. He can never do it alone. Getting rid of Wallace is a mistake."

And now here we are again.....

The Steelers will be just fine with Juju, Washington, Switzer, Rogers et al, plus whatever they can acquire with the ****-ton of picks/players that they can get for Brown

I long for the old days, I used to get so excited for the games...Now, I still watch them , and cheer for them, but it seems so different...

Idk if it's players salaries, me only attitudes, social media whatever...The players just seem so different...They show up but whatever, we'll give it a try...

Guys like Keisel, Troy, Farrior,Bettis, Heath, Aaron Smith etc. just seemed so buisness like and NASTY! Never seemed like there was this weekly drama/ bull**** going on...Now we have something every week, all year long something...

Fans ( speaking for myself ) because * obviously I can't speak for others, are getting turned off with the weekly drama...

I also thinks it's compounded when you think you have talented teams...Super Bowl capable teams...

I understand you can't win/ be in the big one every year...sans Cheats ( ****in hate them ) probably more envy than anything unfortunately...But fans get frustrated watching the same comedy of errors, week after week, season after season...When you expect more!

I don't know how you say AB isn't a problem. His latest actions could have cost them a playoff berth. Can you imagine if the Steelers lost and Ravens won. Maybe next time they won't be so lucky.

Don't forget about the knucklehead throwing furniture off a balcony. And his trade me comments and sideline tantrums. Couple seasons ago was the facebook live. He's only been getting away with this crap because of how good he is.

After watching Ryan Clark talk about AB and watching AB and his antics over the years, I can certainly see what he was talking about and tend to agree with Clark. My only issue is the money we have to absorb by trading him. I don't know if the reward will be good enough to trade him.
