Yeah I don't know. If it happened Wednesday it was listed as coaches decision thaBen didn't practice which coincides with his usual Wednesday off. Everyone is killing AB and rightfully so but where is the criticism for who is supposed to be a leader. Leadership starts from the top. If Ben isn't practicing the last Wednesday of the season that's a F in joke. Maybe he was preparing a new list of people to throw under the bus on his last radio show. If indeed it's true and I'm going by the DNP list that he didn't bother to practice it's almost as inexcusable. Where is his commitment?

Well we do seem to be coached by a Lewis/Jackson " hybrid" right down to not controlling his players.

So a coach has no leadership role? I am confident saying that you’re dead wrong if that’s your position.

If Tua were eligible for this draft, and declared, he would have to be the #1 overall pick. He is ACCURATE as all hell. He could be a 70%+ passer like Brees in a year or two. Plus, he’s a gritty winner who has already proven that he has ice water in his veins. #1 overall pick all the way.

If ESPN is this down on AB, you know something is seriously wrong because they hardly ever criticize star players. Ryan Clark just destroyed him in this piece and you almost never hear players getting on other players like this. I think AB is done here and if everything they say about him is true, who is going to want him? You can't get nothing for him, but who is going to pay what his talent is worth? It's Bell all over again.

Let’s be sure we have the facts with the cap hit. AB’s cap hit if here is $22 million. His cap hit if cut or traded pre June 1 is $21 million. We save $1 million by dealing him. However, that doesn’t account for the cost of his replacement.

They're stuck with Rudolph for now as Ben's replacement, they can't afford to use anymore picks on QBs.

I'm no Ben fan, but there's a lot we don't know about what happened that day.

Also, how often do other top QB's get Wednesdays off? If this is a normal thing for all the top QB's around the league, I have no issue with it. If Ben is a one off when it comes to taking Wednesdays off, then I agree that he's not showing a dedication to winning and needs to get his **** together.

Ben has his problems, that's for sure, I'm just not convinced that he's somehow at fault in this case. We'll probably never know

So thankful i never bought a brown or bell jersey. Both amazing players, but i never thought they were steeler enough to get a jersey.

He absolutely does or should. It starts from the top and trickles down. The QB is supposed to be among the leaders but ours is a passive aggressive. The players should be policing the locker room based on a standard of leadership and discipline set by the HC. If there is no baseline or bar so to speak the leadership from player to player wil fall on deaf ears and that's what's happening here. Great leaders lead by example and not words. There is a saying that " I would rather go to battle with a bunch of sheep lead by a lion than a bunch of lions lead by a sheep" Right now we are being lead to slaughter.....

Every week 17 injury report I've found lists Ben as DNP (coach decision) for wednesday, full participant for thurs and fri.. That makes me question the validity of the story as a whole, but not the fact that AB is a real problem and has been since 2016 playoffs with his facebook live locker room disaster (although the video did highlight what little control Tomlin has over his team and how his rhetoric has become white noise to the players and fans alike). Nothing has changed since then (except a f@ck-ton contract for AB) why would anyone expect anything different...

There is definitely a lot we don't know and on a normal week if taking a day off for QBs is the norm then OK but it's most likely the last week of the season. There should be nothing stopping him from wanting to be as sharp as possible. He doesn't play PS and our constant slow starts reflect that. He doesn't play well coming off of byes or any extended rest. If he was practicing then I'm wrong but if he wasn't that's pathetic and inexcusable. How long are we gonna be saying he needs to get his **** together ? Ben is a great QB but not as great as he could of been if he was more committed. Not practicing on Wednesday if that was indeed the case shows terrible leadership and that's not commitment to winning.

AB is a mental midget who can't stand sharing the spot light with JUJU. He is the I in team and will be a distraction next season just as Bell was last year. It seems as though the circus will continue and Tomlin will be the ultimate spectator. Maybe it's time I find something better to do with my Sundays as this team will regress once again in 2019.

Yeah Belichick wanted to move on from Brady and Gronk, the owner stepped in and they traded Jimmy G instead.

They were my two top picks for a jersey a while back. I just never pulled the trigger because I procrastinate. Glad I didn't. My two new frontrunners are JuJu and T.J. (although I'm also considering Bettis....my Lamber jersey doesn't....uhh.....fit anymore). :)

AB is a handful that's for damn sure but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's a problem. If he's a problem he's part of a long list of problems on this team. The biggest problem to me is where is the leadership from anyone on the team including the HC? It's official....the nuts are running the asylum . What is gonna be done to get this team back under control? Like you said the current message has become white noise....

I don't know about other QB's (I think I read Drew Brees takes some weds off) but Ben is listed as DNP wed going back to week 6 with one exception, Raiders week.

Same with me. I’ve got jerseys for Ben, Bettis, Hines, and Stallworth. I had a Harrison jersey but once he turned traitor it had to go. The wife has Ben, Bettis, and Polamalu jerseys. We need to upgrade but I’m still under my self imposed ban on spending money on Roger Goodell football.

Brown is actually too good of a player to waste on a team headed by Tomlin. I mean really! Could be Brown and Bell will enter as tag team somewhere that puts them closer to some rings. Stay tune.
