nuggets from Tomlin's press conference

The Rooneys are more committed to a liberal agenda at this point than winning football games. Grand dad got an ambassadorship fo supporting President Obama. I'm not commenting on the worth of Tomlin as a black or white man only on his coaching skills and the reasons the Rooneys will not fire him. At some point they became more interested in politics than in football. My opinion anyway

 

I think Tomlin needs to go. We need a fresh perspective. I think my biggest Problem with Tomlin over the last eight or so years, was his lack of a killer instinct. We would get a 10 point lead then the conservative play calling starts. Belincheat would wait until he had a 40 point lead then he might get conservative. Tomlin tries to be or act like he is too cool to be questioned. He needs to go bye bye.

Tomlin keeps saying that crap because he knows nothing is going to happen to him to him. Ben is the same way with taking responsibility. So, what does that mean? If they are responsible, what are the consequences or what remedies were put into place to correct? I'll give you two guesses but you'll only need one. Let me help you out a little, answer is NOTHING>

 

I am tone deaf to his garbage speeches any more....what I hear when he talks is.....blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and blah. Pyscho-babble bullsh$t.

 

Every year it's "one more year". Why? Every year looks the same and it's not going to change. The guy is clueless and the players have tuned him out. It's over.

 

How do people in Pittsburgh feel about Tomlin? The fans and the local media, are they discussing him like this message board is or is he protected somewhat?

 

Tomlin said "we stand by our work". That's the same thing that I tell my wife when I f-up the laundry. Sure, I put forth an effort but that doesn't fix the shrunken shirts.

 

Yes but do you "own it" and if you shrunk the sheets for the bed would you " lie" in it?

 

I wonder if the designers of the titanic and hindenberg also said they stand by their work.

 

They probably did but at the same time they didn't "live in their fears" we know how well that ended.
