You’re never going to hear that guy say one bad thing about Tomlin so don’t waste your time. Pretty sure he’s the one who damn near had a friggin meltdown when I used the term Tomlin “jock sniffer” years ago...

Tomlin does no wrong in his eyes...

 

On top of that, you have to have a willing trading partner to move up or down. You just can't throw all your draft picks in just to move up a few spots on "what you believe" is the top candidate. Suppose he is not. Suppose he blows a knee like Spence. Spence was supposed to be "shazier" before he blew up that knee. And look what happened. He was not even close to his former self.

 

Yup, a week later and the situations change. Still at 20 there may be a few options at day one starting LB and CB on the board.

 

They would have been better served to trade their pick for Patrick Peterson earlier this year. He would be better than anything they're going to get in the draft.

 

Wouldnt that also fall under poor coaching, lack of preparation, failure to perform, call it whatever you want, the truth is that this happens year after year after year. When will you accept that there is a fundamental breakdown from the top on down in these types of games?

 

Or lack of talent , the players are on the field go out there and execute.

 

Unless Devin White, Josh Allen, Quinnen Williams, Andreaz "Greedy" Williams, Ed Oliver, RaShan Gary or even Byron Murphy make it out of the Top 15, Pittsburgh is not likely to trade up at all. Furthermore, I believe all current trade talk needs to be put to a halt due in part to the whole "#KneeGate" saga. That could have immense ramifications pending on Wednesdays exit meeting.
