So as we’ve seen this year our division is going to be really tough next year. The Browns, Ravens, and Bengals are all playoff teams next year IMO.

Before the Browns were two wins, not anymore. The Ravens are always tough, but we usually prevail. The Bengals were good to start the season, but had some bad injuries. To me the AFC North has always been a hard division, maybe the hardest, and now it’s even harder.

With what we just did this year who sees us taking the division next year?

Also I just watched Ben’s presser and he just seems like it’s no big deal. I don’t expect him to come in throwing stuff, but dang we just face planted and he’s acting like it’s the beginning of the year. That just doesn’t sit well with me. I at least want him to put on that not making the playoffs hurts dang.

Not worried about the Bengals or the Ravens with Lamar.. Browns might be the second best team

Watch what they do next year. Lamar won't be around long running it 20 times a game and with them getting rid of Flacco once Lamar goes down they'll have no one.. Then you'll have the soon to be hue Jackson led Bengals lol. I actually think the division is beginning to regress

They were 6-1 with him, if he plays like that for a full season, the Steelers won't have to give anything away.

Really your not worried about the Ravens? Lamar might be figured out next year, but they have a great defense.

Seemed like Ben was disappointed in his press conference. He took the blame and didn’t point fingers. Pointed out the tie and the Denver game. Two in which he didn’t play very well. It’s not like he talked about driving on the Saints.

Usually I think 4 wins in the division is enough. They were 4-1-1 in the division. We all know the 0-4 record versus AFC West hurt terribly.

That great defense gave up almost 400 yards passing to a rookie today

He'll get hurt just like all the other running QBs.

Agreed on both points. I have zero worry about LJ long term. Mayfield on the other hand...

I will say I don’t know why teams don’t stack the box and make Lamar throw the ball. He can’t throw the ball very well. It’s like teams defenses say we’ll shut him down playing our scheme. Then he runs wild. He rarely throws the ball. I have to say it’s working for them right now.

He’s really good as much as I can’t stand him. I will say 400 yards is a lot, but they normally don’t give that up.

He is pretty damn elusive. Teams will figure out his tendecies though & we'll see if he has the arm.

Pretty sure Ben torched them in Baltimore too this year. Seems like they play stiffer defense on the road then at home which is why I like the chargers to knock them off next week and put an end to that Lamar Jackson fairy tale for good

What if they gave up 500 yards and had 3 takeaways. Is that a good defensive performance?

He and the rest of the Steelers had a week to process their situation. They knew even a win today might not be enough. I don't have any problem at all with Roethlisberger's reaction.

Well I guess that depends on the score & when they take it away. Their defense isn't great but it's better than most of the league. Yeah, no way it's an all-time defense.

I miss the days where u could have stingy defenses. Now if u give up 500 but have 3 takeaways that's a solid performance. It's lame

I don’t know if it’s going to a put an end to Lamar Jackson. He got them into the playoffs. Flacco wasn’t doing anything. So I could see Jackson being the starter next year.

Plus they just went into LA and beat the Chargers. Of course I’d love to see the Chargers knock them off, but it’s going to be a good game. Plus it’s the playoffs, and will see how well that running game does in the playoffs.

Agreed, but I don’t understand why teams haven’t done it this year so far? It’s like they go into the game saying our defensive scheme is going to stop that running game.

In the game against the Browns all three of their touchdowns were Lamar Jackson runs. I’m surprised I haven’t seen a team stack the box the entire game and say beat us with your arm. Hopefully the Chargers will do something like that.

The NFL will figure out Jackson next year u can bank on it. Or hell just end up getting injured because he won't last running the ball 20 times a game. So this will be his moment because I don't expect the same production from him in the following years
