He was happy with the effort of the guys who barely beat one of the worst and most injured teams in the league in a must win situation? If he is happy with that effort, he really needs to go because he is clearly part of the problem.

Rooney is just as much, If not moreso guilty of this teams status...This team.is underachieving, undisciplined, and just not very good..And hasn't been for awhile...

For as much **** as I give Tomlin, Rooney is more to blame...HE is the main man, and if he truly wants to get back to Steeler football...Go find the next YOUNG Tomlin...The fiery, more disciplined, team that played better than it looked, or thought it was good , or payed attention to detail, came to play, learned from their mistakes...He is out there somewhere...FIND HIM...This guy is not it anymore!

To be fair, he wanted to talk about the game and said he would talk about the season on Tuesday. They continued to ask about the season.

Would it be refreshing if Tomlin came out and said he was disappointed in the season and commits to a better season next year. But I don’t think he will say that.

To anyone upset by what he says or doesn’t say, all I can say is, lol. Why let yourself be that weak?

I don't get the upset part either, Tomlin says the same thing every week.

Actually, Art Rooney is running the team exactly the way Dan Rooney did it. Both his father and his grandfather would have stuck by Tomlin after this season, too.

I said after the Raiders game that they should move on from Tomlin after the season, but it's not going to happen. I do hope they will finally make a move if the Steelers fail to make the playoffs next season, too.

As long as sheep continue to buy tickets, show up to training camp, spend money on merchandise - the Rooneys have NO incentive to change.

Exactly. It isn't as if this is some new thing with Tomlin. His squad has been underachieving for most of the past decade.

There is no way that Art Rooney can be happy with how this turned out here these last 6 games going from 7-2-1 to missing the playoffs it just doesn’t happen and should not have happened with as much talent that is on this roster. Tomlin’s seat you have to believe will be warm after this collapse combined with the one and done debacle with the Jags at home last year in the playoffs. Tomlin sitting here saying “we accept responsibility and we accept this and that and blah blah blah we’ll are you really?? If Tomlin’s seat doesn’t heat up after this year then he will never be on the hot seat. It’s time now it really is.

A lot of people are saying one more year for Tomlin, but this year was that one more year for me. He needs to go!
