Is his "personality" good for Cleveland or do you think that he needs to grow up a little? From his college days to staring down Hue Jackson?

Also, was confidence the biggest problem for Cleveland at the QB position? Almost every QB for Cleveland had confidence issues, except for Manziel. But Manziel didn't take the game seriously, yet they have the same characteristics everywhere else. One can only imagine if Manziel turned out like Mayfield.

Mayfield may be better than expected but I'm still not buying his stock long term.

His personality is volatile and that often doesn't work out at the QB position.

Kind of like that idiot Chargers QB that let us down.

I like the guy, personally.....I remember the Steelers teams from the '70's. A LOT of those guys had "attitudes". Wish we had them back. Jack Lambert played with a serious "attitude". Those Steeler teams had a reputation as MEAN SOB's. Football was WAR back then. IMHO, Mayfield is just what the Browns need right now.

Well, there's a difference between "aggressive" and "intimidating", which is the attitude the teams from the 70's had - and being a douche. Mayfield is just a cocky douche.

Now, I think Mayfield is great for Cleveland because they haven't had a leader like this in a long time, with "swagger" or not.

If the Steelers go into a draft with only one pick.

Pick someone with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove and then watch him prove it.

I don't really care about Baker as long as he beats the Ravens Sunday.

For the moment I am a huge fan of Baker. We need him to beat Ravens after that we will have years to hate the guy.

I think he's a horrible human being, but I also think that doesn't make him much different from the guy I've been cheering for for the last 14 years. Being a good person doesn't have much to do with being a talented player

Nope, don't know him personally, but it's the feeling I get based on the obscene gestures, drunken behavior, etc that is well documented. I tend to think that what is on video is the tip of the iceberg, not the anomaly

I think you've got him mixed up with Johnny "Football" Manziel. Baker has an attitude, he's a gamer, throws a nice ball, and has done quite a lot of charitable work in the Cleveland area already....none of which he wanted any "press" for. Personally, I'd trade Ben for him, even up, right now!

While there are similarities with Johnny Manziel, Baker really is nothing like Johnny. Junebug, you are right about the charitable work, and such, I really didn't know much about Baker since I don't follow college ball that closely, but I like that he has taken to us, and really wants to change things here. Baker's private life has been pretty quiet and uneventful, where as, Johnny was already in trouble at this point in his stay here.

Baker is cocky, but so far, he's backed that up.

    Just my opinion.
