If they keep Tomlin I think he should clear out the entire defensive staff.

What is Porter bringing to the table?

All of them....wishful thinking. Well...keep Munch. Can’t say it enough...Tomlin’s a joke. Or in Bradshaw terms....one heck of a cheerleader.

    Keith Butler

    Jerry Olsavsky

    Joey Porter

Tell them hock their brains, pack their bags and head out. Enough is enough.

If the coaching changes don't involve Tomlin being shown the door, I'm not sure I can stomach another season of him pissing away Ben's best years.

    Mike Tomlin.

It's time for a fresh start. For both the organization and Tomlin himself.

If not, the whole defensive staff needs gutted.

This is actually my prediction. I think Art Rooney is a little quicker to action then his dad was. Tomlin will be given more time, but I think the defensive staff gets overhauled.

    Tomlin
    Butler
    Smith
    Porter

Will be lucky if they show any the door though.

I still don't think firing Butler changes much given Tomlin's approach to preparation. It certainly holds him responsible for his faults but doesn't fix the underlying problem.

La Canfora reporting Tomlin's job is safe. Shocking I know.

The last few years we have reached for a few guys guys early in the first few rounds but other than that most of the remaining picks were not far off their rankings.

If the players suck then change is needed in scouting or head office.

If the talent is even average but the execution is well below average its the coaching .

The only defensive coach I d keep is Dunbar for DL but if they do clean house a new DC might want more of his own assistants.

Unfortunately Tomlin isn’t going anywhere. And Ben needs to stop throwing so many picks.

Most of us know what should happen but won't. Art II will come out and say although it was a disappointing season it still was a winning season.

If a defensive coordinator is hired he brings in his staff. Although I like Dunbar and Bradley to stay. What would be totally off the chain is if Butler is fired and Porter takes his place

I also feel it might be time to show Bubble Yum Smith the door.

Especially once this sinks in and festers watching teams of equal or lesser talent play in the playoffs when the Rooney's team controlled their own destiny with plenty of time left in the season

When or If Lewis gets canned in Cincy, he should be hired as the DC.

If I'm Rooney next year is Tomlin's last year. If they underachieve again he gone

I doubt Porter is a great X/Os coach but WR know he can motivate.

In reality though, if Porter gets blamed for Jarvis Jones/Dupree, does he also get praised for TJ Watt?

I'd keep Porter. Dump Butler. We also need a new eye when it comes to scouting DBs. Is Bradley what we need in regards to coaching?

Where is the Mike Munchak of the secondary?

The entire Defensive staff, starting with Tomlin, needs to GTFO. Short of that, this team isn't winning anything. It won't happen because the Rooney's don't care.
