god what a horrid thread. who cares? he didn't want to play and didn't. Connor was having a great year. Defense and coaching killed this team. Handing the ball to Ridley with the game on the line that is a known fumbler? Yeah good decision

They'd have to go 0-16 in Bens 2nd year, as I'm sure Lawrence leave after his junior year.

Kinda idiotic to complain about another thread on such and such subject only to comment in said thread. Could have just skipped right over it, but nope.

I say at least 1 1/2 wins. I know their chances of making it to the SB decreased quite a bit when he didnt sign the franchise tender according to Vegas. It would have been nice to have a two headed monster in the backfield ala Kamara/Ingram. No telling how dynamic this offense would have been. They certainly would not have lost a step chemistry or momentum wise due to an injury to either one.

How do you know he didnt want to play? You in his head now? You know him personally? Your rant might seem more credible if you were replying based upon fact than a seat of emotion.

it is self evident he didn't want to play he made demands no one was going to meet ergo he didn't want to play. I suppose if the Steelers had wanted to blow up the salary cap and put themselves in cap hell for years to come and surrendered to his demands he plays. But that was never an option and the steelers made that clear from the beginning. So spare me your sarcasm. I don't need to be in his head. All I need to do is look at the offer he would have played under and know that had he wanted to play this year he could have. He didn't. Ergo he didn't want to play. Course i'm an old guy that hold that a person can either abide by the rules he and his fellow players agreed to or simply not play. He didn't play.

they could have picked up any number of vets to send Ridley on his way. They didn't.

Very likely 0. Our RB wasn’t why we underachieved. It’s our head coach.

A lot of bad luck? Luck is preparation meeting opportunity. We had the opportunity but not the preparation.

I posted on here when CJ Anderson got cut in September they should look into signing him, he would be a better backup than Ridley.

ok ignorant one. Since you seem incapable of having a decent conversation here's the offer that was reportedly offered to bell. not going to bother responding to you again as there are plenty of decent folks to talk to.

e can probably all agree that $70 million is a lot of money, but apparently, it wasn't enough to get Le'Veon Bell to sign a new deal in Pittsburgh. According to NFL.com, the Steelers made one final offer to Bell on Monday, just hours before the NFL's 4 p.m. ET deadline for teams to negotiate a new contract with their franchise player. The offer from the Steelers was worth a total of $70 million over five years (or $14 million per season). Although the offer would have given Bell

Right, i was just going to ask you how much of that was fully guaranteed but you ran off like a pansy with your tail tucked between your legs. Maybe then you would have understood why he didnt sign, but you know everything already. Anybody who claims they know what is going on in somebody else's head without the benefit of knowing all the cards in play or hearing it from the horses' mouth is typically talking out of their anal area. Its only fitting that you would say something you couldnt back up.

If Ben throws 6 interceptions in lieu of 15? If we curtail Ben
to attempting 38 passes/game? I think we are in the playoffs.
