The games today have been quite disappointing. A bunch of blowouts.

Those games help the smaller schools though. It's kind of a trade off.

Georgia and Ohio State were better teams than ND and Oklahoma.

    Let the best play.

This is why an eight team playoff is needed. They could
eliminate over half these bowl games, no one goes to them
anyway. TV money is the reason for all these bowl games.
ESPN should say we are getting rid of these bowl games and
play a select few. Bowl games used as playoff sites. Then you would
see some attendance at these sites.

As by your prediction on other post. The big 12 plays no defense in that league.
Iowa State will change that shortly.

I agree abt playing no defense in the big 12, its the main reason i havnt watched OU years ... As far as my prediction went the last 3? times OU played Alabama OU has won.. I was hoping that they had Sabins #

Huge Bama fan and the playoff needs to be expanded. That said I welcome the Clemson/Bama re-re-match. Clemson will give Bama all they can handle. Hopefully there will be backup headsets on call for Saban! His team lost all focus and motivation it seemed to me once they had the 28-0 lead after 15 minutes of play. At one point I think it was after Damien Harris scored to make it 21-0 my lip reading skills thought they saw him mouth the words "Gonna be a long night". After which Bama does nothing until 25 sec left in the half adding 3 points on a field goal and one replacement headset. Wasn't until later in the 4th qtr. when they put up 2 more TD's while OK showed signs of making it a game. A Sooner defense would have made it more interesting as everyone knew going in. I think Bama will need to find a way to get Surtan some help in the secondary as he was torched time and again. Anybody else have a comment on the game?

I agree completely. Hard to believe the morons in the NCAA took so long to even get a playoff scenario and hope it doesn't take as long to expand it.

Saban is worried. He knows he doesn't have the best team tonight.

That Trevor Lawrence.... man oh man.

Some team is going to get a future Franchise Quarterback for certain. By far and away the best College Quarterback in College Football. Whoever is a close second..... is not even a close second. That kid has "it" in absolute spades.

Austin Bryant, Trayvon Mullen and Isaiah Simmons are having some good plays too. Tre Lamar is slipping. Mack Wilson is just..... :puking2:

Will definitely be keeping an eye on Mullen over the next couple of months. I always have liked Clemson CBs and he is the next one.

Wilkins is a beast. Probably more of a 4-3 DT. Maybe a 3-4 DE.

Justyn Ross looks like a stud at WR. Can't believe Clemson has Lawrence and Ross for 2 more seasons.

Good on guys like Wilkins and Ferrell going back to get their championship.

Biggest disappointment of the night - Mack Wilson. I was hoping he would step up but he was constantly out if position and making poor reads.

Agree on Trayvon Mullen. He definitely assisted his draft stock tonight for certain. A strong combine likely catapults him into the First Round; top 20 possibly. That kid is really good.

Regarding Christian Wilkins, agreed. It would be intriguing to see him on an attacking 3-4 scheme but 4-3 is best for him. He would be an awesome interior disrupter for certain.

The majority of Alabama players I had within my top 32 Big Board are getting pushed down; some more heavily than others. Biggest one though is Mack Wilson. He needed to have a good game. Could not do it. Jonah Williams and Deionte Thompson are tied for runner up in my opinion. Clein Ferrell exposed him with violence while Austin Bryant beat him with power and agility. Deionte had S.S.D.L.S (Severe Sean Davis Lapse Syndrome) with the playfakes and double looks both Trevor Lawrence and Clemson gave him. Raekwon Davis would be the third. He was still immovable but did little in the pass game. Quinnen Williams also moves down for me. Character issues or not, Ed Oliver is the guy. Great players make great plays when they are needed most. Quinnen did not deliver

Never seen that coming. I thought Clemson would win, but not at that margin.
