It wasn't gambling, it was arrogance.

He believed that they were so much better than the Raiders that they could go across the country to Oakland and win with a backup QB. It's arrogant and disrespectful to your opponent and not the first time he's done it.

Adjustments meaning Bostic still covering Keenan Allen on 3rd and Medium with zero RBs on field for LA? That kind of adjustment?

Just a simple question to all. Do you feel Mike Tomlin can get us to another Superbowl
and win it? I do not, so I say lets start fresh and see how it plays out. It is a lonely road
    that has no turns.

Arrogance when he really hasn’t done anything to be that way is his biggest downfall.

He uses words like um a lot. He has an emoji dedicated to him on this board . He can whip out a cliché like a boss. He likes popcorn.

I will have to say this, yes I believe he can get us to another SB. The reason I say this is because he has been around awhile and has proven he can coach this team, but for some reason there is just times where he acts like he is on cruise control and things go right by....like our playoff hopes. Now with that said I also believe Munch, Whiz and Mularkey could come in here and take this team to a SB as well. This team is so loaded especially on offense that it is scary. I also feel we have talent of defense more than many here feel but for some reason the Butler/Tomlin combo just isn't working.

What I would love to see happen is Tomlin - Butler - Porter and Olsavsky gone. I would love to see Munch given the HC job and let him bring in his guys to fill them spots open and if there are others that he feels needs to be gone I am ok with that. I would love to see Greene and Shazier as our new LB coaches and Munch's good friend Mathews as the line coach.

All this won't happen as Tomlin is not going anyplace but this is a message board and fun to talk about while drinking the morning coffee.

Dobbs didn't do anything to show this is true when we needed him against Oakland

To me, this is the question ownership needs to ask themselves. Because, despite regular season record, if they truly believe he can't - then why keep him?

As if Jones would have done any better... that's laughable. I didnt bring up Dobbs but since you did, I'll say that I dont think he is the answer either, even though Dobbs has more upside and potential than Landry Jones but he'll never be an NFL starter. BTW, how many teams are beating down the door for the services of Landry Jones after Steelers cut him? Dobbs wouldn't last 5 minutes on the wire. Besides 19 days as backup for the sh!tty jagoffs and then getting released, nobody has even given Jones a second thought.

As it turns out, one man's garbage is still another man's garbage.

We have won 3 playoff games since our last super bowl appearance.

Yep one vs a back up QB(dolphins), one vs a back up QB and help from a melt down(bungals) and one without scoring a TD. I do believe we are 3-5 since our last super bowl appearance which by the was was a loss to GB. Hardly acceptable imo

I was actually hoping for a non-biased film breakdown of the supporting points.

    But as usual was disappointed.

Only the usual biased conjecture blaming the coach for a player throwing an interception or fumbling a football.

    Exactly.

There is a lot of other teams with more wins since then. McCarthy has 5 wins I believe in that time and he was just fired.

And why does it seem when the topic comes up about tomlin leaving, it’s like race gets insinuated at times? Maybe it isn’t , just feels that way.

With the rosters we have fielded in that time we should have a lot more than 3 playoff wins. Like last year vs Jacksonville and it comes out we were game planning for the patriots that week.

Yes wins are great, but championships is all that matters and we’re never in that position because we lose home field advantage with stupid losses during the season.

I agree. Landry is still unemployed. If he was worth anything he would be employed by some team. Rudolph will be the future. Not Dobbs. Mark my words

Not even sure at this point that Rudolph is the future. But Dobbs certainly isn't.

Of course not. He couldn't even get this team to the playoffs in a bad division.

The Jags with awful Blake Bortes didn't want Jones. Put that in perspective.
