This team is flawed, no doubt. But if we somehow get in, man are they dangerous. The Saints game on Sunday reminded me of when the Giants played that undefeated Pats team the last week of the season and gave them all they can handle. The Steelers played the best team in league with the greatest home field advantage in the league and went toe to toe. If we get in we can go very far. Go Steelers!!

I agree on the offensive side but our D isn’t winning us any championship anytime soon
So just backing in to the playoffs is just a mere consolation prize for the dismal season

    1. We ain't getting in
    2. Steelers have to beat the Bengals and they are starting a backup QB. We all know how well backup QBs perform against this defense.
    3. Even if by some miracle the Browns beat the Ravens, Steelers would only win 1 game at most in post season and then be ousted in divisional round.
    4. Steelers confidence level is probably shot and they are obviously snake-bitten. I don't expect much on Sunday... Ravens over Browns, Bengals over Steelers. Driskel lights up the D. Steelers offense sputters... they won't score 20 points.

I dunno, maybe this team is dangerous. But it's lost 4 of 5. It beat NE, ok that's a big deal, but Brady had the ball on the Steelers 11 ready to tie in the last minute. They played NO tough, but still lost. What do mediocre teams do? They play close games vs the NFL best , but make just enough mistakes to lose.

I have a hard time seeing these guys making a lot of noise in the post season. Maybe, they steal a home WC game vs KC or LAC, but that seems like a best case scenario.

I believe the Giants beat the undefeated Patriot team in the Super Bowl? I remember they had pre made shirts saying 19-0 and gave them away to needy kids in Africa. I was watching some nature show and saw a few children of the village with them on. Being a hater of the Pats it gave me great pleasure.

Steelers will win Sunday! I sure hope you pick the Bengals in the "Predict the Score" contest because I will have a great chance to win it.

I'm so sure the Steelers win Sunday I declared you the winner of my Steeler season record poll with your 9-7 pick. Congrats!!!!!! You know our team.

We've always been dangerous every year in the playoffs.. Still have the same problems those past teams have had that made them fail tho so I'm not worried about it

Well Vegas likes the Steelers Sunday as 17 point favorites. I think Steelers win but even I'm not sure they cover a 17 point spread.

Thanks. I will most likely win "Predict the Score." Trust me... I wish I had been wrong more than right.

This sub-par season was easy to predict. Steelers didn't do enough in the offseason to correct the obvious flaws. Not dropping the franchise tag on Bell and using that money on some good defensive talent was the first major error. This is the same team that went 13-3 in 2017, but that team was a 10 win team at most due to sandbagged wins against backup QBs... games in which Steelers barely won! The entire team is overrated. Tons of pro-bowl talent that can't get it together vs. the bottom feeders of the NFL. Pathetic.

I agree. He is still talking a good game and not producing results. Same old BS. You would think even he would realize what a joke he is.

Like last year or when Teebow beat us? I don't think "always" is accurate but we can be dangerous if we actually prepare for a game properly.

Steelers have always had the talent but will never have the discipline under Tomlin.. They better come back next year motivated to prove something but there's nothing about Tomlin that makes me believe that will happen

I really would love to see the Steelers get another shot at the Chargers. Gordon would change things, but hopefully somebody will explain to Butler ahead of time that he might want to put defensive backs on slot receivers rather than linebackers.

I can't say I'd be very confident going to Kansas City or New England, but they'd have a shot.

Sadly, none of it's going to happen. I doubt the Steelers will lose to the Bengals, but I think the Ravens are going to win Sunday.

This is bad news. Have you seen Tomlin's record when he is a 9pt. or more favorite?

Well they would have the advantage of not being able to overlook their opponent like they quite often do. Although in saying that I am reminded of the JAX game. So I don't know. We definitely win I just don't know if the Browns can pull it off. This team is so Jekyll and Hyde even the coaches it's impossible to predict.

I think it usually applies more while be the visiting team with the big point spread. He usually is better at home in this regard normally.

I think the Steelers win and the Ravens lose on Sunday. I have a 1,000 bet on the Steelers and am giving 15.5 points and another 1,000 bet on the Browns and am getting 6 points.
I would like to win both bets and get me to plus 15,000 on my bets with Vegas for the year.
This will be my final bets. I down sized my target for helping the animal shelters to 15,000 this year so that would make the target. It will have been a real good 4 or 5 year run.
I am thinking we will look back at this year and still be amazed that in spite of everything we hung tough and finally won #7,
