That's fair. I don't know which of us is right, but that's a fair argument.

I know my eyes aren't what they used to be but on the only replay I saw I'm pretty sure it was. The Steelers players also reacted that way immediately after the play. When I'm not as aggravated I might do some looking around for a replay

Everybody trying to downplay the horrible officiating in hopes Tomlin is getting fired is playing themselves.

Yeah, you do that. The pass was wobbly due to Brees moving around, but Tuitt misses it.

If you think about it turnovers have been our achilles heel. That’s what has shot us in the foot. It seems like every time we’re driving we fumble or throw a pick. Just sucks ALL that talent and we’re most likely going to have to watch the less talented Ravens in the playoffs. Disappointed.

I agree this and the Chargers game was some **** officiating, but The Browns tie, the Broncos and Raiders loss, you can’t say that about those games.

Brees does throw wobbly passes often, so hard to say that it was a tip that caused it.

I did prove it. You made up stuff about me.

You said I was cheerleading. That was disrespectful.

Your point is horrible because it is wrong. The Rooney Rule isn't the issue. The argument that last year's team could have been 9-7 was ridiculous. This team could easily be 12-2-1, so why not give Tomlin credit there? You're bending reality to try to support a bad argument.

True, but win even one of those and the Steelers only have to beat the Bengals to make the playoffs. I think it is fair to say if the officials did their jobs properly, the Steelers would have at least beaten the Saints or the Chargers, if not both.

I just saw Edelman score a touchdown today on a play very much like Smith-Schuster's fumble. Two defenders hit him, but he never landed on the ground, kept going and scored. I wonder if Smith-Schuster saw it and hoped to do the same thing?

I should have looked at the original post more closely. I thought he meant the pictures were "too blurry." :lolol:

They are blurry, but even if they were perfectly clear, they wouldn't prove a thing.

I think Juju is just a gamer and never wants to accept being down. Admirable, but man what a bad spot for that to happen.

I have a really hard time faulting Smith-Schuster for that fumble, though it was a killer mistake. The Steelers and the officials did plenty wrong to set that play up, including calling the penalty McDonald drew holding instead of pass interference even though the ball was in the air when he was being grabbed.

The calls against Haden will stick with me for a long time, especially the first one. It was so blatantly wrong and it turned out to be a seven-point gift for the Saints.

You know what sucks to the dam Patriots have a dam chance to get the number one seed again. The Chiefs just lost and so did the Chargers, which makes both 11-4. The Patriots, who are in the easiest division in football, are 10-5. They play the vaunted Jets this upcoming weekend. So they’ll be 11-5. Both the Chiefs and Chargers lose they get the number one seed. I’ll puck if I have to watch another Patriots Super Bowl.

Just think we were 6-2-1 and looking like we’re going to get a top seed and now we’re not even going to make the playoffs most likely. How the mighty fall. Very disappointing end to the season. Also to have to watch the damn Patriots possibly get the number one seed again. I might not watch the playoffs if that happens. I’ll be the biggest Browns fan in the world next weekend.

Agree completely. I can't fault him for his tenacity.

And yeah, to me the two plays that stand out are the Haden endzone (non)PI call and the decision to call DH instead of PI. How the ref can call PI when he's standing *behind* and his view being blocked by Haden is beyond me.
