Who put Ridley in the game and made that ridiculous play call???

 

We'd have a 1st round bye with Whiner. He's a much smarter coach than Tomlin. Always has been.

 

Also responsible for running Bell and Conner in the ground, but In this crucial game puts Ridley in on an important 3rd down. Not Nix, nor Samuels, use Ridley who had what, the first carry in the game and that’s it. Super genius.....

 

Hard to beat the team with the best record in football and the refs. Oh well, the Steelers did not get the breaks this year. Best offensive in Steelers history to not make the playoffs.

 

I'd love to, but they haven't given me much reason to the last several years. We are consistently handicapped by the top people on the staff.

 

Bingo. I hate them too, but they brought it when they needed it. They could have packed it in weeks ago but something tells me they knew the Steelers were going to fall all over themselves so stay tuned.

At least they have a defense and their QB is keeping them in the game.

 

Discipline...what is that? Not sure I’ve seen that with the Steelers this year.

 

Easy to blame JuJu or Ridley, but the blame goes to the defense for giving up a 3rd and 20 play late in the game and for the coaching staff to have Ridley in the game on a crucial 3rd and 2. This coaching staff does NOT put its players in position to be successful. How many times this year have we had to watch a LB cover a WR or RB? How many times this year have we watched the Steelers throw on a 3rd and 3 yards or less? Pathetic!!!!!

Everyone crys about refs but this whole organization is undisciplined.

Refs didnt give the Saints a 3rd and 20 conversion. Or tell Boswell to miss easy kicks vs Raiders and Browns or force Ben to throw an INT vs Denver or Ridley to fumble today or the defense to let the Saints drive down the field at the end of the 1st half.

Blaming refs is weak considering Steelers allowed the refs to matter.

They are a joke with the coaching staff they had and the Rooneys cant fire him because of their stupid rule.

 

Baltimore has an actual NFL defense. They will throttle that new QB. Book it

I don’t think Cleveland will beat Baltimore and it’s just plain sucks we are in this situation. Too many fundamental mistakes over and over again!

 

Played great, and proud of them...But never should have been in this position...If we would have played with the passion we played with the last couple weeks...We would have been a No.1 seed...Now THAT is on Tomlin!

 

As I've gotten older, I've take a more cynical view towards my sports teams. I just want them to win. Interception? Tough...you didn't do your job. Missed field goal? Tough...you didn't do your job. Fumble? You get the idea. (and believe me....I'm on board with all the Tomlin bashing, too). But....seeing JuJu fumble that ball and then see him crying (did I see that right?) really made me sad. That kid has worked his tail off and to have it end like that? UGH.

Wow, now there's a highlight reel...Best offense in steeler history to NOT make the playoffs. That's one for the press guide for sure.

 

so your telling me Tomlin doesnt have the final call by his coaches if thats true and i am almost sure it isnt he would need fired for that too

Probably just saving ourselves a heartbreaking playoff loss.. literally, the story of our season.

And the only Illegal contact they call was made late in the game. Every PI call for the Saints was a backbreaker and put them in position to score!

 

I think this was a bigger missed opportunity than last yr. The AFC was wide open.
