I don't know if it is misplaced or not. I think it is safe to say Steeler fans are going to be watching the Ravens game today rather intently. No?

Well I see Christmas Stooge moved the thread because it is not Steeler related. Yeppers it is not and it is simple to click on this forum. I assume all watching the game tonight will be in this forum but who the hell wants to stay up and watch a meaningless game????? Nothing to do with the Steelers.

 

The Steelers have to go to New Orleans to try to beat arguably the best team in the league without Conner and possibly without Smith-Schuster. Oh, and the Saints get their left tackle back this week, too.

Yeah, the much better chance for the Steelers to get what they need this week is in Los Angeles tonight. The Steelers badly need some help from the Chargers. If they get that help and somehow lose to the Bengals, of course Pittsburgh doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. But if they can get in and get relatively healthy, I do think the Steelers can be dangerous.

Everything that worries me tonight also makes me confident that the Steelers would have a great chance to win a rematch with the Chargers even if Gordon plays. The Chiefs aren't the same team that beat the Steelers early in the season, not with Hunt gone. Pittsburgh just beat New England. None of these would be easy matchups and I certainly see the issue in hoping the Steelers show up and play well for three consecutive playoff games, but a healthy Steelers team has a real chance to make some noise in the post-season. Sadly, they probably need the Chargers to beat the Ravens tonight to get there.

Glenn this is basically for the Steelers to make the playoffs. If Baltimore loses tonight I would say we have a 95% chance of making the playoffs. (We are not losing to the Bengals second string at home in a must win game)

If Baltimore wins I would say we have about a 25% chance. Would have to hope we shock New Orleans or Cleveland beats Baltimore in Baltimore. Neither are likely.

This game is bigger than the game tomorrow in NO. IMO

I kno this game the Ravens play tonight is not bigger than the Steelers game tmrw ..I kno if we win and the Ravens win we stll lead the division..And i know that i have more faith in the Steelers than u do aparently.. and yea i kno how the playoffs wrk

 

Ok well if Baltimore wins tonight we probably miss the playoffs so yes, this is a big game. Baltimore is 4 point underdogs the Steelers are 6.5

My next lesson will be on odds

 

I hope the Chargers crush the Ravens. That would help us tremendously.
Good thing though no matter what happens in that game we still control our own destiny.
