    i agree. the shinny new toy is just another tool in the box. i think they are saying he is a better option this week because conner isn't healed yet. the shinny new toy does have some good hands. i for one am glad we have them both in our tool box. we need conner healthy. those high ankle sprains can reoccur easily if not fully healed. no use rushing him back if he isn't quite ready yet. :cool:

    I'm going to say Conner with not play this week. Maybe next week. High ankle sprains are terrible to over come, and even harder for a running back.

    Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster appeared on the injury report with a groin issue. He was limited Thursday. WR James Washington says he's ready to start if necessary but believes Smith-Schuster will be fine.

    Yikes. We need to have JuJu healthy on Sunday.

    Saints starting LT Bushrod still sidelined. If we get his back up Dupree better have his best game as a Steeler and I really hope Ola gets a helmet on Sunday just in case Dupree is his usually quiet self.

    Samuels is a very intelligent football player. Being a rookie and that smart, he has a bright future. I think he could be the RB the rest of the way. Looking forward to seeing him.

    Agreed. I remember people poo-pooing the last shiny toy. That worked out pretty well.

    I'm not expecting a lot this game though, even if Conner was playing.
