CHANGE THE BOARD NAME

Now before you all think I am nuts and have let all my marbles fall out of my head here is my though. We need to change the name of this board for ONE DAY ONLY! This Saturday we all will become some of the biggest Charger fans there is. If the chargers can win it will ease the pressure on Sunday a whole lot. If the Chargers win and we win we clinch and that would make the following week not as important and possibly even resting several starters in a game where we always lose players.

I know I know I am getting way ahead and yeah maybe I am but it all starts with the Chargers beating the Ravens so I am all in being a Charger fan for one night. Chargers win then we win and it will be a merry merry merry Christmas for us, jmo!

I would much prefer if the Steelers just handle their own business. We just beat the Patriots. Anything is possible.

They can handle their business but is the Chargers win and we "handle our business" then the following week id a bye pretty much. Do I have to remind everyone how many times the Bungals have hurt players late in the season???? TCB is very important but if the Chargers help here that would be major. jmo

 

With this team I would play the games out regardless of what the Ravens do. The way this season has gone the Steelers can not afford to rest anyone against the Bengals. If the scenario we are talking about plays out the Steelers need to ride the momentum of beating the Pats and Saints. Resting starters against the Bengals would kill that momentum and you would see a flat Steelers team the following week in the Wild Card game, IMO.

 

While I agree and would be all for it against any other team,Its the Bengals ,they would stoop to a new level low if we had clinched and still played everyone ..There is absolutely no respect from them ,they hardly respect each other let alone us..

I agree with what you are saying about the Bengals. But it is a chance I would take. If the Steelers end up the 4 seed, they will play either the Chargers or the Chiefs in the wildcard. If they come out flat in that game they will lose.

True Steeler fans NEVER...NEVA EVA..root for any other NFL team to WIN..we only root for a team to LOSE... so we root for the Ravens to lose.. and Rivers breaking a collarbone wouldnt upset me..

 

I just puked in my mouth a little. I've decided that, this Saturday, I'll be rooting AGAINST the Ravens not FOR...………...that other team!

I don't know about that as I naturally root for anyone playing the Girls each and every weekend. Even during the off season.

 

I do know that I plan on starting a Steeler related Game Day Thread for the Charger/Raven game. I hate night games but this is one I plan on staying up for.

 

No... not this time. Mayfield is the QB they've been looking for since 1999. I guarantee the Browns will at least split with the Steelers next year... if not sweep them.

 

I also think the Browns are about to become the new king of AFC North but it will take some getting use to. Followers of the NFL are just so accustomed to staying, "Browns suck".

 

I agree with all of what you say but what I am suggesting is not resting but protecting. We have seen to many times a meaningless game cost a player, the clown game comes to mind and also the Bungal game. Not to mention Burdict could be head hunting. I am not talking about nobody playing but not playing the whole game would be a nice option no?

 

Just for one day....a few hours, we will all be diehard Charger fans.......#CHARGERNATION LMAO

Yeah, because Baker Mayfield > Lamarr Jackson. If Browns D stops the Ravens from running the ball... they're toast. Jackson will fall back down to earth once there's more game tape on him.
