Coaches should always game plan to give players a chance and avoid bad match ups. The game plan was horrible and awful against the Chargers as bad as it gets when you constantly have linebackers who CANNOT match up with the other teams best receiver. All the Chargers did was move Allen into the slot and we covered him with a linebacker because they were to stupid or stubborn to move a corner on him. Again GAME PLANS do matter. If you want to win then you should have a good GAME PLAN or make adjustments to your GAME PLAN if it dosen't work.

Patriots game plan was great. We win with the same players with execution.

Chargers game plan horrible. We loose with the same players but we couldn't execute because the the game plan of covering their best receiver with linebackers made us over-matched and we kept doing the whole game.

I believe it worked in the first half. Allen was sin the slot the whole game. I blame that loss on the offense anyway.

JuJu almost caught it though, if he scores that TD game over.

I get where you are coming from and every team in the league has bad games and poor execution at times. That said, the reason the coaching gets pummeled all the time is because this poor execution happens consistently with this team, that means there is a lack of preparation and that falls squarely on the coaches.

How many times does the offense start slow? Almost every game, and it isn't just poor execution, it looks as if they never practiced half of the plays that they are running. That constant poor execution is due to lack of preparation, period.

Game plans are important. Look at the red zone efficiency this year. No more empty set backfield on first, second and third down from the opponents four yard line. That falls squarely on the coaches. It is frustrating when even nonchalant casual observers recognize that and yet it takes MT YEARS to comprehend that. These types of criticisms are valid and we as fans are justified voicing them.

Our RZ efficiency is tops in the NFL, and by a large margin - and pretty much highest in the league since like 2000. Despite our tendency (stupid) of going empty on 1st and goal from inside the 5.

But I agree, it's on the coaches. Or Ben. Or both.
