Good the game is Saturday night - Steelers will know the outcome. Plus Chargers still in the race for the 1 seed.

Steelers are in with a win vs Cincy in wk 17 no matter what.

6 seed at Houston or NE

4 seed at home vs KC or LA

The Saints would be a HUGE win. We're good enough to beat them, but it'll be tough. Ben has to be good.

I miscalculated. IF the Ravens win out and the Colts and Titans both win in week 16, the Steelers have to win out or they don't make the playoffs. Saturday night is huge.

Browns are still alive, but need a ton of help.

    1. Colts lose to NYG
    2. Titans lose to Redskins
    3. Ravens lose or tie to Chargers
    4. Dolphins lose 1 of last 2
    5. Colts and Titans tie in week 17
    6. Browns win both

    All those have to happen.

Saints are a rotten defense. We can run the ball if Ben allows it because lets be honest he’s the O coord. Now the saints are crazy on offense on paper. It’s tough for sure. But if we see this effort again we have a chance

Unless the Chargers roll over and play dead, no way they are losing to Baltimore. Baltimore's offense is meh at best. They won't score enough points to keep up with LA.

Saints have a very good run defense but weak against the pass. Overall though the defense is playing good ball, they haven't given up more than 17 points in the last 5 games.

Not to be a Debbie downer but I think they lose next week. Saints have much better weapons than NE. Ravens will have to play a great game to beat the Chargers. I think it's going to come down to the last game of the season. *shudder*

Rams lost and if saints win tomorrow they lock up HFA.

Maybe just maybe our desperation outweighs theirs

Had the Steelers beat the Raiders last week they would have still had a shot at the 2 seed by having Houston lose in Philly next week who just went into LA and beat the Rams and by winning out against the Saints and Bengals. The Steelers still need to win out and have the Pats lose to either the Bills or the Jets at home just to have a shot to jump them to be the 3 seed. So even if the Steelers and Pats do somehow meet again in the playoffs it appears it’s gonna still end up being in Foxboro.

Ya I see no way Lamar Jackson will be able to keep up with Phillip Rivers and score enough points to beat the Chargers on the road next week.

The Steelers right now pretty much are win the division or bust. They probably aren’t getting a wildcard at 9-6-1. They need both the Colts to lose to the Giants at home and the Titans to lose to the Redskins at home as well for both of them now to finish 9-7 so Incase they finish 9-6-1 and the Ravens win out and win the division. That is their only shot at a wildcard and I just don’t see it right now and it’s probably not going to happen.

The above statement in bold is incorrect. With the assumption we are taking about a wildcard berth, if they win only 1 of there last 2 games, that will give the Steelers 9 wins for the season. The Colts and the Titans can get to 10 wins and the Steelers can do nothing about it. The Colts play the Titans on week 17. So unless they both lose this coming week, one of them will have a chance at 10 wins. If they both win this coming weekend, only a week 17 tie will prevent one of them from 10 wins

Yeah, unfortunately no. Close, but a one game lead if the Saints win and the tiebreaker with the Rams with 2 games to play does not yet lock up anything. Plus, the Rams have back to back cakewalks, so the Saints have to beat either the Steelers or the Panthers in week 17 to lock up HFA. We will get their best, but really, would we want it any other way????? My answer, of course, is HELL YES!!!!

I think they are still mathematically alive for a wild card spot, though it is very unlikely. The wins by the Steelers and Ravens eliminated the Browns from contention for the AFC North title.
