it matters to me when the pats are at the 10 with a chance to win.it also is a mental thing in the players head

Ravens losing would’ve been the icing lol. Yea Dallas still in the playoffs and yes we can still miss the playoffs but I’m going to enjoy the silence today

Aren't you the one who said the Steelers wouldn't win another game this season?

Or we just keep winning. But yes I would feel better if chargers did not lay an egg. Keep winning Kansas City!

Keep patriots out of home field this year and they can be one and done

The sooner the NFL becomes more popular in England the better.

Turning up hungover on a Monday because Steelers won/lost is waring thin as an excuse...

If we didn't turn the ball over, this would have been an easy win.

This Patriots team isn't scary, they probably won't be a top 2 seed this season, they can be had in the playoffs.

Was on my way to Mexico and only got to see bits and pieces of the game. A win against the Pats is always a good win, but I'm wondering how we looked. A win is always a win, but I like to know the details too.

Some of the Pats fans I know, hey I lived in Mass for 28 years, have said Brady should have retired after their last SB win. They are seeing a distinct change in not only his play but the entire team. So, even some fans in NE see that Rome is burning. It aint gonna last forever.

They won, because in spite of everything you mentioned, they remained resilient and didn't let those mistakes beat them.

I'm shocked the refs would call 14 penalties on the Patriots, maybe it was make-up for blowing that Jesse TD last year :roflmao:.

I am going to bow out but before I do, I just have an observation.

Out side of the total defensive effort here, lets look at who the game balls in my opinion should go to.

    1. Watt. He has a huge motor and plays hard on every play. Although he only got to Brady once, he was in there enough to make Brady uncomfortable.
    2. Samuels. A beacon of light in a dense foggy night. He played his butt off and made a lot of people see what he is capable of.
    3. Washington. This kid was great in college. He has been in a funk. Tonight, just like Samuels shows that he does have the ability.

Notice that all three of these are YOUNG guys. You can throw in Ju Ju too, but these are 1-2 year guys that are stepping up. I know it is only one game for Washington and Samuels, but I believe the ability between all these players is not that much. Hey, everyone runs 4.4, so what separates them from the pack. I believe it is all mental. Take Boz. He is a good kicker and has shown that. We all know this is a head thing with him, not ability. So, if he can get in a mental funk so can the others. Rookies and second year guys feel the pressure to perform and that causes them to do things they normally would not do.

So, I am happy for these guys. They can all play, I just hope this gives them more confidence in the coming weeks and coming years. But for this game, it was a total youth movement for the game balls.
