Read a article on Over the Cap. According to them the Steelers spent $107.6 M on Offense and they skimp on Defense spending $77.7 M. It could be that they might want to up the ante on the D side of the ball. If they don't and " Keep on doing what there doing they will keep on getting what they got." A good Day makes a great O.

how many 1st round picks have they spent on D the last five years? you have to go all the way back to 2012 and DeCastro. They need to make better picks.

    It’s an increasingly offense-first league.

The Vikes spent a ton on defense and haven't lived up to expectations. It's not even about the amount of 1st round picks invested either. Drafting better might help. Overall, the draft can be a crap shoot. Teams miss way more than they hit.

Defense in the league will struggle to play at a high level from week to week. The league wanted more offense. They are getting their way.
