    The good:
    1. Ben was lights out for the time he was in
    2. Juju represented
    3. Jalen Samuels was on point in the passing game

    The bad
    1. No one seemed to want to cover Jared cook and we get Gronk next week

    The ugly:
    1. The bos situation is getting out of hand
    2. The coaches...... we were beat at every level... offense, defense special teams, clock management and substitutions (more on that)
    3. Tomlin leaving ben on the bench when he was cleared to play and his explanation afterwards was utterly ridiculous
    4. Our remaining schedule

The good - I haven't been emotionally invested in this team since the fluke win against the Jags. I tried telling people they needed to treat that game like a loss and improve and now they haven't won a game since. Nothing in that game showed me they improved from the year before so why did nobody else see this coming?

The bad - Poster's who didn't want to listen. Glemm with his typical a win is a win instead of evaluating how they barely won.

The ugly - This team and especially the defensive scheme.

Jalen Samuels is okay in the passing game but he is not a running back that can run between the tackles. He never did in college and haven't seen him doing it yet in the Pro's. I'm not seeing what others are seeing him as a running back. We are hurting without a running game and the Cheats will exploit that, and we already know that we don't make adjustments and we do what we do.

yep. you and heinz warned us all and yet we kept laughing as the rain poured on us. It was too late when we wanted to board your boat and we drowned in Tomin's quotes

The available information changed. I never imagined Tomlin would give away a game by sitting Roethlisberger when he had been cleared to return. That was a new low and it cost the Steelers their season. It's not a matter of them having some great insight then. Heinz is just a doomsayer no matter what the situation. It's a matter of new information, Tomlin doing something that was a new level of stupid.

Among the ugly should be whoever was covering Carrier on the Raiders' final touchdown. You could see on the replay that somebody had tight coverage as Carrier ran his route into the end zone. Then they were out of frame for a moment. Once you saw where Carr was throwing, Carrier was wide open and easily able to step in for the score. You see three defenders just standing there watching it. That just can't happen with the game on the line, but it happens far too often with this defense.

I thought it was Hilton, but to be honest, I'm just not sure who it was. Some of the blame also goes on the pass rushers, who got no pressure at all on Carr with the game on the line, but the defender who inexplicably lost Carrier was the worst of the culprits at the end.

The past 6 seasons didn't show you that there's no limit to Tomlin's stupidity?

Honestly, that was a new low for him. Bad clock management and shaky decisions in personnel and play-calling are one thing, but that was a new level of dumb. The way to beat the Raiders is to pile up points on that terrible defense, something the Steelers couldn't do with Dobbs. You don't do it by trusting a shaky defense against a decent Oakland offense.

His explanation alone is grounds for dismissal. Probably every other team would have canned him for that.

Well, welcome aboard. Tomlin lost me the first time he went for a 2 point conversion after the opening TD of a game. When I pointed out (on this site) how stupid it was, I was told to 'get over it'. Luckily, I didn't. It showed me that he thinks he's coaching on another level, which he is, but unfortunately it's a lower level.
Nothing he's done since then has really surprised me.

I would love for someone to get a screen-grab of Carr's expression when he sees Carrier wide open. Recalling it being something along the lines of "holy crap, this is like practice..."

Tomlin tried to save his QB from further injury against a bad team. It came back to bite him. He thought he be able to get through with Dobbs. He was wrong.

The clock utilization at the end before the raiders scored was stupid.

I think I feel bad for Juju the most. He had a heck of a game. Thought he was going to go all the way on that hook and ladder play.

AB's heroics and just balls-out play aside, JuJu is quickly approaching the point where he can seriously be considered the best WR on this team. He's already the best athlete.

    The Good- no serious injuries

The Bad - Steelers @ 7 4 1 and our QB is on the sideline capable of playing is on standby awaiting for a Raider score before going in. Totally asinine.

    The ugly- losing again!!

One thing JuJu has on AB is size. JuJu is a lot bigger than you think and physical, AB depends on his speed and hands.

I think Juju does benefit a lot from AB, but Juju is a smart football player, he sold that hook and ladder, he actually chipped a defensive lineman, and no one even covered him. Very smart heads up play. Ben was saying that how much Juju knows about the play book, that he often times offers suggestions of plays that aren't even designed for him.

He did a similar thing against the Browns a couple years ago. Started Landry Jones then a supposedly hurt big Ben had to come in and get the game back under control.
