I actually can’t wait for Brady to do his thing. Then on lawd, Brees will throw for 600. This is the only way we can purge Butler.

 

Tomlin says it is disappointing, he doesn't look to make excuses but says they didn't make plays. They wanted him to throw Boz under the bus, he did not. In essence, it was the most honest press conference I've heard. Tomlin knows there is no magic button. They are who they are. They weren't as good as we thought when they won a bunch in a row and they aren't as bad as we think while they are losing a bunch in a row.

To me, the team still suffers from the loss of Shazier. They didn't address his loss in the draft. While drafting an ILB might not have solved the problem this year, they don't have any hope with anyone on their roster for the future. They played their hand wrong with the RB situation. No real depth. Samuels can contribute, but not as a RB. I can't see how there aren't changes to the defensive coaching staff at the end of this year. It may not be the Steelers' style to make those changes during the year, but at this point, I wish they would.

 

Why would we want to at that point....draft position baby!

Yupp I been said that. Haden is the only decent player in the secondary. Heyward is decent but like said last year hes overrated and got most his sacks vs the bad teams and QBs we played last yr. Burns, Dupree, and Davis are busts. Edmunds is looking like one but it's still early but that was a reach taking him when they did.

 

Give Munchak a shot at leading the team. Obviously the OL responds to him. And the team is severely lacking in leadership.

 

Tomlin's press conference should be bombarded with no questions except:

1. Why was Ben not put back in? Was it arrogance?
2. Why no time out before the Raider's last TD? Again, was it just arrogance?
3. Why do you always struggle against bad teams?

Nothing else.

 

there is still no word why Ben was on the bench for almost 25 minuts

 

There needs to be some serious moves made, I have watched this now for 12 years.
I can't stand no more.

 

That was just to confirm their stupidity and further proof the HC chokes in big spots

 

1. they asked him, he said they were in the middle of a drive.
2. he said he wanted to save one for the offense, didn't know JuJu would get out of bounds
3. wasn't asked that directly, but took ownership of the poor performance.

 

A big school coach would have called timeout when raiders were milking the clock. That is too complicated for a million dollar coaching staff to figure out. Us fans care more than Tomlin. No ben for whole half was a season ender. No biggie. We have no chance to make super bowl ever again with this clown. Go patriots

There are fans of at least 27 other franchises who would be happy to complain about their record over the last 12 years. Other than the Patriots, which other franchise is better than 1-1 in the Superbowls and matches the Steelers in wins and playoff births over that time?

 

Yup or a TD. There is no excuse for that level of incompetence
