There are very few sure things in life but I would be willing to bet a large amount of money on the Chiefs beating the Ravens in KC on Sunday.

Care to enlighten us on which stats matter? Here are some trivial stats that must not matter because the Saints aren't mediocre in them.

Wins: tied for 2nd in the league
    Points scored: 3rd
    Pt Differential :1st
    Off yds: 6th
    First downs: 3rd
    Giveaway takeaway +\- : 5th

This isn't to say Ben and co can't put up 40 and beat them. But playing in NO, will probably be the biggest challenge this team faces this season.

    Just win baby!

Honestly, I could see the Steelers lose 5 straight and finish 8-7-1 or win the next 4 and finish 11-4-1

Defense is what I was referring to:

17th overall in total yds per game (NFL)
20th overall in total pts per game (NFL)

    It's obvious they have a high-powered offense.

Really it should be two I think, because Baltimore has to play the Chiefs and Chargers. I don’t see them beating either one of them. If they do they might deserve the division over us. We’ve had our chances. We should easily be 9-2-1, but what we should be and what we are is two different things.

Ravens have a defense and trending in the opposite direction that the Steelers are. They have a plan they are using to get wins. We have Tomlin and worried about winning against a sub .500 team. This is not complicated but historical fact..

Is it possible the Chargers could over take KC? I don't see that happening but could happen maybe.

I still think it shapes up at the Chargers come to Pittsburgh in the wild card round.

Wouldn't shock me if Houston got the 2 seed over NE.

No one is talking about that Houston team. Quite impressive to win 9 in a row after going 0-3.

I am looking at them. They are quietly taking care of business. Very dangerous team to overlook.

only way I change my opinion on this team is if we go 3-1 for the final stretch. That means we beat either NO or NE. would rather beat NE if it had to be one or the other lol.

Losing to Saints wouldn't hurt Steelers much in AFC race, other than overall record. So yes... beating the Patriots is much more important.

Yep. Our track record in Oakland is terrible. Of course the Raiders suck in Pittsburgh. I only remember them winning once at Heinz Field... with Rich Gannon at QB in the past 20+ years.

Kordell Stewart beat Raiders at 3 Rivers Stadium final season in 2000. That was an awesome game.

New England I think is the more winnable of the two between the Pats and Saints games.

That one was about as ugly as the loss to the Chargers Sunday night. It was an epic collapse late, complete with the Steelers dropping an easy interception late that would have sealed the game.

At this point, I'm not sure it matters much which one they win if they can beat the Saints or Patriots. Tiebreakers are nearly meaningless to the Steelers right now because they have that tie.

The game against the Patriots is definitely the better opportunity of the two to win. That game is in Pittsburgh. The game against the Saints is in New Orleans. Also, the Saints have a better defense and running game than the Patriots.
