We've lost every year at Oakland (with a losing record no less) since 1995 I believe. We just lost our best running back for the game. We play our worst football as favorites. Everything points to a loss this weekend so we'll probably win.

We should dominate this game regardless, because the Raiders just stink I mean they’re terrible. That said with the way we’ve been playing I wouldn’t be surprised if we get beat. We’re just not playing well right now and we don’t have a good running back.

I can’t believe we don’t have a decent backup running back. Running backs are everywhere and cheap. Ridley is okay, but no stud that’s for sure. Samuels is not that great either. We should be able to beat the Raiders without a running back period. That’s how terrible they are, but we like making things harder than they should be.

If we lose this game we’ll lose out. We aren’t beating the Patriots or Saints and Cincinnati is a rival. Although they are without Dalton and Green. We’ll windup at 9-6-1 or 8-7-1. We’ll see if that’s enough to win the division.

Raiders will turn over the ball 8 times and we will probably still lose lol

I don't understand how anybody can be that confident right now. Even without Conner, the Steelers should beat the Raiders. Oakland is a bad team, much worse than the two that just beat Pittsburgh. That said, the Steelers have been finding ways to lose the last two weeks and they haven't played well for a full game since the win over Carolina. We don't know what the offense looks like without Conner, but it will certainly be diminished.

I like to make prop bets involving the Steelers, as opposed to betting whether they will win or lose. Over/under 100 rushing yards for Conner worked out nicely for me a couple times this season.

Jordy Nelson had his coming out game last week , now he gets to go up against this buffet line of a defense we have
Gonna be a lot of points scored IMO

Yep.. our defense can't get out of it's own way and the offense will turn the ball over every other time we visit the red zone.

And we should be. I get everyone is frustrated but we dominated the Broncos and only lost due to random ass turnovers and lost on Sunday because of the refs. Yes, we SHOULD have been better, but that doesn't change that we lost by 3 and the refs gave the Chargers 14 free points.

Unfortunately I did watch. I personally am not optimistic, but who the heck knows which team will show up? They lose when they should win and they win big when it should be close. There's just no predicting what this team will do.

We lost 2 games in a row, and he's worried about TD celebrations.

I am sure the Chiefs were last week as well, and they barely won.

I've seen the Steelers lose to Bruce Gradkowski, Terelle Pryor (yep back when he was a QB) and Carson Palmer there.

So I'm sure Derek Carr could beat them too. Luckily the field is now a football field and not a baseball stadium. So maybe that helps us this time around.

It is a shame we have a losing record, and all some people focus on is our losses! I know, it is more fun to lament over a loss than speculate how we could win based on our 7 previous wins. Oh well, if we play like we did against Carolina, we should win this on easy. This game could be the spark needed for a magical run through the rest of the season. (Come on, give it a try...it isn't as difficult as some might think to be positive). Yes, I know, "I can love the Steelers and still be critical!" blah, blah, blah. I can love rough sex, but it doesn't mean I should get the s**t kicked out of me every time I jump in the sack!

But what if we unleash hell the same time the Raiders decide to unleash their own holly hell .. Then what?

you're a good dude. If I won the lottery I would totally just show off, blow my money, and not give to any family members.

This is why i suffer :(

Well of course because it's not about how you play but more about how you look ?
