And the Steelers may have another one on the horizon. The Steelers not being able to win at home is the biggest indictment against this team, whether it is on Tomlin, Ben, Butler, the defense, or whoever. This problem goes back to practice habits, game preparation, and focus.

At what point does does Tomlin hold himself, his coaches, and players accountable? At what point does Art Rooney II see the talent on this team not being maximized? Sometimes I wonder if the three coaches in 50 years is a badge of honor or its Rooney II's way of doing what the Steelers do. I am not calling for Tomlin to go, but somewhere somehow someone needs to get in his ear and tell him to tighten up the preparation and focus of the team.

and this last game will cast doubt should we get the lead in future games. players will need to stay focused and not let those 'waiting on the collapse' thoughts to creep in.

I was one of them. Sadly we drew only 61,000 fans. Fans do not seem to like the night games. Tickets were very available for cheap and this was good matchup and great weather for December, as good as weather as you could ask for, got a little windy at the end of game but it was nice out.

Also makes me embarrassed is the fact the amount of fighting that between fans at the game occurred on Sunday. Ridiculous.

Some folks take it all too seriously and can't handle the booze. I know, but need to fan these fools for life. Plus you get the one drunk guy behind me dropping F bombs every 2 seconds about everything.

    Hey Your Hotness,

According to your tagline, why don't you make the Steelers your most hated NFL team, so they can win another Super Bowl? But this theory doesn't seem to be working for several posters on this board already.

Y’all need to accept the fact we might not win another ring ever. It’s really that simple. Realize how lucky we are and enjoy the game. There are fans out there that have lived their entire lives without sniffing a championship. Steelers’ fans act like spoiled children and think it’s easy.

Why is this? Was it 2006 - 2009? They were unbelievably good and it was with Tomlin and Ben.

They can't enjoy football. To them, it's all about finding an excuse to complain about something.

Some fans think because we have a HoF QB in Ben, that winning a Super Bowl is that easy .

I totally agree. What's more of a nightmare is to watch it again on NFL Network tonight. What poor soul Steeler fan would be watching that replay?

I record all of the games on DVR. If Steelers lose, I delete it immediately. If they win, I'll re-watch it a few times. The last game I saved was Jacksonville... and I fast-forwarded that game to the 4th quarter.

Sad thing is... the Panthers game is probably the last good game we'll see from the Steelers until next year.

It was just a mirage too lol. This chargers game first half had me believing we would be the regular season contender again but not even that

This has been the most disappointing season since 2009. 2012-13 were bad years, but we were lacking talent then... and many of our core players had either retired or were aging.

To me, what's been most disappointing this season is to see them play 1-2 quarters of lights-out ball (offense and defense, unbelievably) and then revert to stupidity the other 2-3 quarters.

    Or vice versa.

The season is not over by a long shot. We look no worse than we did this far into the season in 2005. The recipe for this team is to get to the playoffs mostly healthy and hope Ben gets hot and avoids the killer interceptions and stops missing wide open WRs. It really is going to come down to Ben.
