Hello from California

About 50 miles as the crow flies but opposite sides of the San Andreas, a very risky chasm to cross midway up the Cajon Pass. There just might be as many Steeler fans in Cali as the population of Pittsburgh itself. Literally dozens of Steeler bars around So Cal (at least prior to DTV's Sunday Ticket).

 

Welcome Franco, obviously you never attended a Steeler game out here on the West Coast. Easily 1/3 of the attendance at past games out here would be dressed in Black and Gold. I'm looking forward to the Steelers playing the Raiders in the future up in Vegas. At least it's a safer zip code to park in versus the LA Coliseum or Oakland.

 

No I have not been lucky enough to attend a game out here. I can’t wait! Yes that sounds like a good time!

 

I've been to many games in San Diego. Dating back to the 70s. Including one game where the fans were hanging a dummy of Bradshaw. Through the years, As Steeler fans got more plentiful, the locals came up with a game of trying to steal Terrible Towels during the game!

 

There are Steeler sports bars in Sacramento where the Steeler fans outnumber all other fans, even 49'er and Raider fans.

The small sports bar I go to usually has myself and 1-3 other Steeler fans and we usually outnumber the other fans.

 

From the border to the Capitol. We're everywhere!

I have to find me a good bar with steeler fans... in SoCal I’m surround by rams and chargers fans....

 

My dad had Charger season tickets. Whenever the Steelers came to town, I'd get the second ticket. My oldest brother got the Raiders ticket and my other brother got the Broncos game.

 

I believe you're surrounded by Rams fans but, Chargers fans?????? Nah!
There's a couple of Steeler bars down here like Bubs in PB. There's one I went to once in La Mesa too. That'd be quite a drive though.

 

Yes it would be haha. Yes! Maybe just my town but ever since they moved to LA I see a lot more chargers fans

 

......….just not at the soccer pitch where they play!
