Steelers offensive line seems to be flirting with a flag for not all being on the line of scrimmage. AV in particular seems set back pretty far.

 

The thing is, he can look like he is at the top of his game for a stretch, then he has a stretch of stupid decision making. It`s not like his maximum skill level has dropped, but he can`t maintain it for 4 quarters. The inconsistency is maddening. I guess he has always had a problem throwing the ball away, but the inaccurate throws when not under pressure make me wonder.

Not to hijack the thread, but is that show worth the time? It looks really interesting.

All of the offensive linemen don't have to be on the line. They can each be back half a player from the guy on the inside of them. So, the OG's can be half way back from the center and then the OT's can be half way back from the OG's.

Alright guys! First half notes!


- Terrell is getting better and better. Last week, he had his best game statistically. This week, another rock solid performance.


- Big Al needs to be First Team All Pro this season should he continue. Another "Steelers Story" in the writing. For that matter, Ben has all day.


- Officials are not officiating at all. That in itself is very suspicious. Some of these plays need to be reviewed by the league. If the NFL fired one official, they are capable of doing so yet again; a fine if not that.



- Front seven is acquiring consistent pressure. That needs to keep up all game. Do not let up. Keep it coming.



- James Conner is getting better and better each week. Yes, he has had those proverial hair pulling moments but he has been consistent for much of the year.



- Concur with BigBenHotness. Big Ben effectively has "Irritable Farve Syndrome." I guess we have to deal with the good and bad with Ben at this point. He is not changing.

 

We must chew the clock now. Even a fg on the opening drive will be HUGE.

 

Key word in your post is “stupid”. Ben has the arm and skills to make any throw. But he doesn’t have good game awareness. Also, he thinks he can squeeze it in anywhere, a good trait to have, but he is sometimes wrong.

 

Serious question...Am I to critical of our squad...It just seems like we dominate teams so often but...We never pull away ( and sometimes ) even lose...I guess that's who we are...Have to accept at this stage in his career, we're gonna get good/ bad Ben just about every game now...Sometimes every other series

Our line has played lights out. Good first half now let’s close this out and get back in the win column. Also LJ Fort has played good as Edmunds tonight.

Pittsburgh needs to score this drive. That way, the defense can tee off on Rivers.

 

Def played a great first half. Off played good most of First half. Lets see if both units can keep it up for 30 more minutes. Hasnt happened to many times this year. Up 16 on a good chargers team at the half with so many missed chances tells everyone how good this team can be

 

Like any reality show it has its moments but the production draws it out for 18 episodes or so week after week. So it's like a Chopped episode that you never see the end of for a season.

 

Some posters were asking when Antonio Brown would have one of his signature dominant performances. He just turned in a dominant half with six receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown.

 

I think we are seeing possibly the greatest ever Wr in AB.

The offense needs to keep moving. A good drive that leads to points, even a field goal, would be huge right here.
