Good Game or Bad Game Today for Philip Rivers?

We'll define it by touchdowns. He's the X factor for the Chargers. What is the overall result of today's game?

 

I will say Rivers has a rather pedestrian day. 22 of 33 for 301 yards and 2 tds. Steelers win 31 to 20

 

Not sure why I'm concerned about this one. Although River's success in the completion percentage area last week was largely due to throwing a number of high percentage throws, this defense tends to struggle against good QBs.

The pressure has to get to Rivers or he'll pick us apart I think.

 

Lately, I'm more worried about Big Ben from one series to the next rather than the player on the opposite sideline.

 

True. If there are a ton of picks/fumbles/penalties/drops etc, there will be a very low probability they will win this game.

One thing the Rivers does not do often is turn the football over. He's generally been good for 2-3 touchdown passes a game this year. He's thrown for at least 2 TDs in each game this year.

 

Since their starting RB is out Rivers will probably pass a lot and will have no problem getting 3 TD's.

 

Good game for Rivers. Steelers are due for a torching.

But its at home after a road loss and in December. I really think he has a good game.

 

Hell no. If Jekyl Ben shows up... Chargers could get whipped. Still... there is a chance Hyde Ben shows up.

 

Well .. He probably won't do better than Russell Wilson is doing in fantasy this week. The dude has 41 points thus far. Should have started him this week lol

I'll be ok if I lose this week due to Rivers having a crappy game if the Steelers win lol
