Chuck Okorafor

Anyone else impressed that Von Miller only had a 0.5 sack against our 3rd string right tackle?

Of the sack he did get, the dude looked like he anticipated the snap count. He got a little lucky I think, but obviously had a huge step on Okorafor and got to Ben.

I'm pretty impressed with all these guys.

Was that on Chuks or on Jesse? Nothe sure if Jesse was supposed to chip him or not he blew by him so fast it's hard to say.

As I said in another thread, Chukwuma Okorafor is developing faster than I thought he would. To think he be this good so early in his career. Sure, Chuks had help in that game. When he did not though, he handled Von Miller very well. I am very proud of him.



Should Chuks start the next game, I am certain that he can handle Joey Bosa. Bosa has the technics down as a pass rusher but does not have the athletic ability to combat Chuks.

I think a general rule from the Tight Ends is to chip him off the edge prior to heading out for passes. Miller jumped by him before he was out of his stance. Which leave Okorafor and Conner to help. Conner ended up being the man and lost.

I'm sure they were giving him some help, but still pretty impressive. I was a little worried about Von prior to the game.
