If this team ends up 8-7-1

I guess we better root for the Titans to win tonight. A Texans loss would help in the standings.

It's amazing what a week and a loss can do around here.......

 

Who even cares anymore? Sitting around rooting for the Titans because this team can't handle business and beat a 4-6 team. **** that. 3 seed instead of 4 so we go to NE instead of KC? I'm done giving a **** about seeding. They get a bye then lay an egg or get waxed at home. It doesn't matter.

 

Yeah, I don't want Ben on a bye in the playoffs.

 

I think we lose every game from here on out. Ben gets replaced by Rudolph. We find out Bud Dupree is actually a transexual and Conner juggles as kids bday parties when he is not playing football

 

Steelers will win at least one game out of the last 5. Even I am optimistic about that.

 

Tomlin is staying. We're not going to tear down the team because we "only" went 8-7-1. There are plenty of others teams that hire and fire head coach's constantly and even when it does work for a year or two they can't stay competitive for long.

Look what Gruden is doing to Oakland. He's completely destroying the team and it will take years to rebuild them. We are not going down that road. Change is not always better.

 

I fully expect that someone, in Aug. 2019 will start a thread, "If the Steelers go 0-16............"

 

I hate to agree, but it’s hard not to. We have 3 really good teams coming up. The Chargers, Patriots, and Saints are really good, and so are we, but it’s a rarity that they do what we did yesterday. Of course the Patriots and Saints don’t turn the ball over like that. Maybe the Chargers every once in a while, but not this year so far. Plus the Chargers have a good defense.

I was listening to Ben after the game and he said the turnovers were because the Broncos played good football. Is he on something? He says some crazy stuff. He threw it right to the guy in the end zone. I don’t care if he got blocked back further than Ben expected. Antonio was covered really well even if the lineman doesn’t pick that ball. Ben tries WAY to much to force the ball to Brown. He makes to many excuses for his picks too.

Trade up in the draft and get Greedy Williams. The dude is going to be something special in the NFL.

 

I'm frustrated and listening to Ratbirds fans feeling energized because of Mike Vick 2.0 is annoying here.

 

The Steelers in 2012 and 2013 weren't that good, the defense was old and slow at that point.

 

At this point, nothing this team does (or doesn't do) would be considered shocking to me. It's been that way for several seasons now.

 

That Raiders team had 1 decent season since they went to the SB in '02. Gruden isn't running some great dynasty into the ground, it the Raiders.

Watched that last night and Houston is to be feared. Who knows how last 5 weeks play out but I can see them getting a bye.

 

I pretty much agree. And remember if not for a penalty Ben would have thrown an INT at end of Jaguars game resulting in a loss. Such a love/hate relationship with the Burgh but when he does call it quits the love will flow. Unless he hangs on way too long and drives us bonkers.

 

I would tend to agree.... however I have a better chance of banging Kate Upton than this team does of going 8-7-1 (assuming health). This board is the biggest overreaction to a lost game.

 

There, fixed it for ya SG. Only thing in your way here is she's been gone for 32 years so I guess the odds are about the same.

 

They were supposed to win against the donkeys. The only game that matters now is the one against Phillis Rivers and the unchargers. Lets hope old Phillis has one of those 4 pick games, he is due.
