According to the NFL network he has an MCL sprain and is going to miss the next few weeks. That is huge huge news for the Steelers especially seeing how they have struggled against the run the last few weeks. I know Rivers was great yesterday and only missed one pass but this will put a ton of pressure on him now with Gordon out for this game. It definitely makes this game with the Chargers a lot more winnable for sure.

This is good news. Austin Ekeler is a more than capable backup. But the Chargers are far more dangerous when they have both of those guys. I would imagine the Chargers will be throwing a lot. We are going to need the secondary to play better than it did yesterday.

Sanders is pretty good, and haden kept other WR's in check all year. He just had a bad game. Due to elevation or just mismatch, I will give him a pass.

NEVER underestimate the Charger's ability to choke! Gordon's hurt? what a surprise! "Shotput" Rivers has a good game against a horrible defense? Even a blind squirrel...………….We'll crush them, they suck!

Wasnt just Haden. Edmunds was particularly horrendous yesterday. I am hoping some home cooking will cure some of the Steelers ails this week.

Chargers still have plenty of weapons without Gordon. Rivers will throw for at least 300. Steelers need to score 30+ points.

The Broncos did a good job of confusing Edmunds. He was often caught in between covering two receivers. It seemed as if they took great advantage of his inexperience.

In the case of Haden, he just failed physically. Sanders just blew by him twice.

Yea Edmunds was caught trying to cover a couple of receivers on the same play. I question if it was all his fault. He was in the area, where was Davis or Sensabugh or anybody else ?

Haden was beat deep too many times by Sanders. Like others have said now I wondering if the altitude played a part.

    .

Von Miller was creating havoc before meeting the Steelers and Chuks did a great job against him. Bosa, while dangerous, is not as deadly as Miller is.

Bosa is a master technician but not a world class athlete. Chuks is a world class athlete and is getting better in his technique. After seeing what Chuks did, I am confident he can do it again.

Rivers has a 115.7 passer rating on the year. Have him on my fantasy team and the dude is lighting it up this year. He doesn't make too many mistakes. The Steelers have to minimize theirs.

Chargers = Bengals West. Pressure "Alice the Goon" and he'll get flustered, start yelling at teammates and coaches and fall apart. It's the Charger way!

Chargers have had good players before. That's their problem, they have good players but, not good teams. Offense didn't get much better than the "Air Coryell" days. That's why they went to so many superbowls..........as spectators!

Won't matter. A running back is only as good as his Oline.

Wish you would stop with this .. I read a post where you said Keenum would put 400 up on our defense.. He was 15/28 and 197 yards

And yet Keenum was victorious with only half the yardage I predicted.
