Exactly. They want to make sure they get the chance to play with the lead and the odds of converting third-and-18 are very low. Also, it looks like the Steelers are doing a great job getting pressure early. As I posted earlier, the only way the one long pass worked was a hold on Williams that gave Keenum time to get the pass away.

The no call on the blocked field goal was the correct call by the officials. You are allowed to "leap" over the line if you are within a yard. It looked liked Justin Simmons was. He did same player earlier in the year so you would have to imagine the Steelers knew he could do it
