Curious what our college fans think. UCF is currently 7-0, and on a 20 game winning streak, yet they currently rank 10th behind 6 one-loss teams. Last season they finished undefeated, were snubbed in favor of 4 one-loss teams, and then beat Auburn which had itself beaten both national championship game participants. Should UCF get a playoff berth over a one-loss team from a power conference if they finish undefeated?

I think they deserve a chance to compete some how if they go undefeated.

While they did beat one of the "supposed" contenders last year in a bowl game...

Do you really think they would have matched up well against Georgia, Alabama or Auburn last year?

They went 13-0 with a win against top 10 Auburn last year.

    Sent guys to the NFL.

    8-0 this year.

The disrespect small scool teams continue to receive is staggering.

Well, chime in Elvis. What are your thoughts? My thoughts unless the NCAA goes to eight, none of these mid majors will ever get a chance.

The school should schedule tougher opponents.

Actually, they have a first year head coach in Josh Heupel. Their coach last year was Scott Frost. The fact that the players have been able to maintain their streak with a new coach at the helm is a testament to how good they are.

I don’t think they will get in, but I think they should make it if they stay unbeaten. It’s not a mid major conference like the MAC. Four different AAC teams have been in the top 25 this year. It’s not a power 5 conference, but it has a handful of teams who can play with anybody.

After watching last night’s impressive win, and after watching some of the one-loss teams struggle at times this season, I definitely think UCF deserves a playoff shot.

If there were nothing but two-loss teams in contention for the playoff, I would give more credence to considering an undefeated UCF.

It is unfortunate, but I can't come up with a scenario where if a still undefeated UCF
team makes the playoffs. I am going to go watch the movie Hoosiers to ease the pain.

In a previous post I must correct my wording I called UCF a mid major
after researching a little, UCF is the largest university by enrollment in the US. I did not know
    this.

UCF lost their starting QB yesterday in blow out of USF. This could be troubling.

That was a nasty injury. He had emergency surgery, and from what I read it was the type of injury that could have cost him his leg without immediate surgery. I don’t know if that’s true. News stories can be sketchy before all of dust settles. Best wishes to him.
