Tomlin said that Gilbert and Tuitt need to let the week speak to them and tell them to practice which they couldn’t do last week.

Also Chickillo has an ankle and if he’s out we would need to add another OLB this week.

Surprising name is Feiler. If he can’t practice we could be on our third string RT. Chuks vs Von Miller.... yikes!

Chickillo was a full participant and if he practices in a full capacity tomorrow should be a go for Sunday.

Both Gilbert and Tuitt did not practice and conversely should be considered highly doubtful for Sunday. At this point you have to wonder if Gilbert will be back this season?

Feiler also sat out today and if he sits out again tomorrow it’s almost certain we will see the first start for Chuks at RT

I'm hoping feiler can go. He's been pretty solid.
You give these guys hefty contracts and you can't get your money's worth. Ex: tuitt and boz

Chuks vs Von Miller a scary thought? For certain but I would not say all hope is lost. Keep in mind that Chuks came out earlier than he should have. Had he stayed at Western Michigan, he would have been a First Round pick.

Here is a good video detailing his pass protection against some quality competition; our very own TJ Watt notwithstanding:

Not saying everything will be okay on Sunday but I am implying that we should not count our proverbial chickens before they hatch.

Feiler played through the injury Sunday, so hopefully he can go. I'm not thrilled about that matchup with Von Miller, either, but it's better giving a rookie that job in his first NFL start.

Chickillo was again a full participant and should be all hands go at this point.

Both Tuitt and Gilbert remains out and both will miss the upcoming game in Denver. Have to wonder if Gilbert will play again this season?

Getting in a limited session was Feiler. He looks questionable for Sunday but the practice participation and designation could clear this up tomorrow. If Feiler misses the game Chuks will get his first NFL start.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Steelers fans!

I'm guessing the limited participation by Feiler today is a good sign. It seems to me as if they are just trying to limit the wear and tear to help him play through the injury.

Tuitt's elbow is also starting to become a real concern. I still think his absence played some role in the Jaguars' success running the ball. Alualu and Hargrave both took up a good bit of the slack for him last week, but his absence also means more snaps for McCullers, which is not a good thing.

Gilbert and Tuitt are both out Sunday. Feiler is questionable.

This really is terrible timing for the injuries at right tackle. Sure, they are going to have to help anybody against Von Miller, but that is hard to do with Chubb on the other side.

I think Gilbert is potentially out for the season. He was fine going into the bye week and 6 weeks later not even a limited practice?

It looks like this was the scouting report before his final season of college ball. I do wonder if his technique got any better in 2017. I'd be willing to bet it has improved while working with Mike Munchak. I still don't want to see him starting against Von Miller, but that scouting report is a bit out of date.

With regard to Gilbert’s injury, many here at TSF are bye-curious. NTTAWWT.

Simple. He needed a teacher for his potential was immense and yet to be tapped. He truly does not know what he does not know..... yet.

Chuks, as we all know, has all the athletic tools you'd ever want from a offensive tackle. Heck, he does not only have really good feet like an offensive tackle, he also has the power of a road grading offensive guard.

Given the fact that Chuks has already earned playing time via the tackle eligible snaps, he seems to be ahead of schedule in his development. That said, I personally do not want his learning experience to be expedited so suddenly; against a future All Pro and Future Hall of Famer no less.

However, given our current set of circumstances, should Feiler be unable to go, it will be time to see what we have in the future. Besides, for good or bad, these lessons will strengthen young Chuks for the greater challenges that lie ahead.

we do have banner available as well if chuks struggles. we could also move ramon out there and bring finney in for ramon. that would also allow chuks to go to extra TE to help ramon. many options to slow down von. if chuks plays well gilberts days could be numbered. chuks, feiler, banner, hawkins.

You can say the same about Tuitt. He was playing solid, now is going to be out for a 2nd week. Hopefully when he does come back he isn't playing with one arm, we have seen this before. As far as Gilbert is concerned the knee injury has sidelined him for several games and doesn't seem to be healing properly. Hopefully he isn't done for the year. Feiler has filled in quite nicely but now is nicked up. Getting a bit thin. If Okorafor has to go he will need a little help from his friends on the chip. Big Mac could help in this situation.
