I go back to 1972. I'd rate in the top 10 for sure. A long time fan friend has it also in the top 5.

Aside from the Immaculate Reception- and the Bengals playoff game a couple years ago- there was a win over the Patriots in 1997, the Kevan Henry game, that was like this one.

I will have to think. Top 5 for sure. I wanted to change the mojo and do yard work. I was heading out the door when we hit the HR ball to AB and I said to hell with the yard. I am worn out....LOL Hopefully this eliminate the JAGS

That playoff win against the Browns many years back was a fantastic comeback victory and that was without a guy named Terry or Ben.

GUTS. This was a special gut check. One of best gut checks I’ve ever seen. It would have been easy to just say “it’s ok, we’re 6-3-1 and leading our division.”

In Steelers history.... hard to say. I think as a single game comeback it’s up there.

Easily top ten in regular season comeback wins. I can't help but thinking how disappointing it would have been for all of Steeler Nation had they staged the valiant comeback only to fall short.

I`m just glad we won, though not too proud of it. Jax penalties the difference despite heroics by our guys.

Also happy we are still undefeated when I start a gameday thread, but I was sure that streak was over, LOL.

Depends on how things play out. They win the SB and this game turns out to be a critical part of them getting there regarding playoff seeding, then it’s top 10. For now there are plenty of other games ahead.

    High!
There aren't many games where I've given up the ghost early in the second half, but this one qualifies.

I could not think of anything coming close in regular season other than ravens game with kordell stewart or the other raven game with browns immaculate reception.......... That was all guts and an unbelievable ending....

Just behind the Patriots Drew Bledsoe fumble (oops, bad memory it was an interception) game for me for regular season. I had pretty much given up once the Jags went up 16-0. I also vaguely remember an opening day win against the Houston Oilers that I thought was a miracle, but I can't even remember why?

Not the famous Bum Phillips quote game where, to paraphrase, "this year we've knocked on the door, next year we're going to kick it in"? If memory serves, we proceeded to eliminate them the following season as well. :lolol:

I had a lot of time for Bum, though.:thumbs up:

    EDIT; in reply to "bleednblackngold".

I only go back to watching games since '92, but this has a Top 5 game ever feel to it.

Bens reaction after the TD suggests this is up there for him too.

I had to look it up after I posted. I'm remembering the 1992 opener where they were 12.5 point underdogs to the Warren Moon lead Oilers. It happened to be Cowher's 1st win.
