Try an outstanding road team who in their last 16 games are 14-1-1. Who knew!?

Surprisingly good road team this year. Big Ben is not giving the ball away as much on the road & our defense is getting off the field.

Weren't you calling for Tomlin's head earlier in the year? Interesting how opinions change so fast.

Steelers are never really on the road. We pack more stadiums on the so-called "road" with tolerant rowdy loving fans glad to have a chance to see their fave team than anyone. Team responds well to this. No other explanation. Settled science. :herewego!:

Preach it! The other morning, I saw a truck on my way to work with a Steeler sticker in the back window. His license plate was "Toweler" There are Steeler fans everywhere!

Nope! I never called for Tomlin's head. I defended Tomlin. Show me one place where I called for Tomlin's head. Also what I posted is a fact. What you say is an opinion.

We want to cheer for Tomlin. The issue had been he hasn't had his teams prepped very well. The last month has been as good as I have seen the team from a prep standpoint. Making calls like 2 point conversions when he shouldn't, going for it for 4th down when he probably shouldn't never bothered me. If you play to win, I will always side with that even if it's not a good call.

Defense is better on the road, offense a little worse

Not saying all stadiums but in some it sounds like we are the home team. Jacksonville is one of them. I remember one year when Heath Miller was still playing I thought they were booing him when he caught a pass but they were screaming his name.

think it's actually 15-0-1 but whatever.. I guess thats being picky. Point is they are FANTASTIC on the road in their last 16 games

Maybe we should be a 6th seed so we have 3 road games:)

The Steelers lost in Chicago last season, I don't think they've played 15 additional road games since then.

What's funny about this is as we've observed many times here, many announcers, when they say "Steelers travel well", think this means all these Steeler fans actually flew, drove, hitch hiked from the Burgh to attend the distant game when in fact most probably live within short driving distance of the road stadium. We're everywhere! We're everywhere! :herewego!:

So true. And back before DTVs Sunday Ticket, there were literally dozens of Steeler bars just is Southern Cali. The Starting Gate Bar across from the Los Alamitos Racetrack would draw 500 to 1000 Steeler fans every Sunday. That was also before TNF and SNF. Those were the days. Now I watch in my jammies on my Lazy Boy.

The Steelers won their final 4 road games in 2016, they went 7-1 on the road last year, including 6 in a row after losing in Chicago and are 3-0-1 on the road so far this year, that adds up to 14-1-1 over their last 16 road games.

In those days, I was almost always out of the country. Usually Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán or Acapulco. Every Sunday I had to find a sports bar to see the games. Now, like you, I watch from my recliner!

I'll give you a hint. He's already on the coaching staff and has head coaching experience.

Mike Munchak was fired after two seasons with the Titans with 22-26 record. Not a very impressive resume. Dick Lebeau also was a head coach. Lasted two years before also getting fired. They are good at their roles, but doesn't mean they are good head coaches.

So I disagree that would be a good move, especially with a 4 game winning streak with a team leading the division who just destroyed an NFL team. Tomlin has demonstrated to be leagues and beyond better.
