I wouldn't change anything right now....but I would bring in a new DC unless this unit finishes top 5 in defense, sacks, turnovers.

Also early in the season Tomlin has lost the locker room , so much for that nonsense.

Kudos to Butler AND Tomlin...Playing well on both sides of the ball...getting a " lil " healthier...Fort, Burnett...Injuries play such a big factor in any teams season but guys like Feiler, Finney, etc. have filled in on occasion admirely...Of course ( fingers crossed ) We haven't had ang BIG injuries so far!

It was justified, they tied the Browns.;+)
We've seen what Tomlin can do with this team in the regular season, that's not the issue. The issue is the impending doom of January.

It has always made me angry when I see all the Tomlin sucks threads. He’s one of the best coaches in the league, lol.

Not that I want to lose, but should we lose again, I look forward to the posts. All this positivity is messing up my universe!

I don't know. Steelers coming off a huge home win, and feeling good about themselves. They are playing a struggling and desperate opponent on the road. The Steelers will be coming off of a long weeks rest and playing a team with a losing record. Bell is coming back and no one knows how that is going to play out. Sounds like a recipe for a trap game to me.

Only reason we are where we are is his consistent ability to hold the Locker room together.

He's good at that, but he can't compete with Belichick. And that's what matters the most in the end.

Not sure there is enough talent on this defense to make it top 5. Personnel could be an issue i.e. Artie Burns, Sensabaugh. These guys are below average

I pointed out at the time that the defense had improved every year until Shazier got hurt. It took a while for them to overcome that devastating loss but it looks like they are on the upswing again.

Belichick is a HOF coach and has dominated the AFC, but we just have to keep trying.

You mean the constant team haters who think we should be just like the Patriots and all the wishy washy "the sky is falling" fans who want to tear the whole team apart because we tied Cleveland after Ben gave them 3 interceptions and Conner lost a fumble?

They should all line up and each get the "Chicken Little" award and have to keep it as their signature line that shows up each time they post.

I agree... but the offense has to produce for all 4 quarters. None of this turtle-ball, 3 and out, punt crap vs. Patriots and Saints. The D is gonna get torched.. so we might as well brace ourselves.

I got some dislikes on my previous post which is fine, but here is something to consider: We've had a game like this each season going back to 2014. Tennessee last year and KC in 2016 with Indy and SF in 2015 with Baltimore in 2014. All I am saying is I think it is a bit premature to say that all of a sudden Tomlin is a great coach. We've had games where we look unbeatable like last night and then the next week go out and lose to a crappy team. That's been my problem with Tomlin all along. His teams are consistently inconsistent from week to week, sometimes from half to half. I love it when we go out and dominate like last night, but I've seen it before and I've seen it not matter when it comes to playoffs. If we start dominating on a consistent basis the teams we are supposed to dominate then I'll change my tune about Tomlin, but we're not there yet. I may be willing to change my tune on Butler, but we'll see how things keep going.

I thought pederson out coached him the sb. I cant even think of any time Tomlin came close to out coaching him.

I remember this one time, in band camp.

I think they crush the Jags too. The run defense is stout and Jags aren't balling like they were last year.

I think it was Scribe who said in the game day thread, please let Haden and Burnett stay healthy.

Improved secondary play all hinges on them.
