Early in the season fans wanted to fire Tomlin, Butler, and Fichtner . Now after 5 wins in a row and in first place at 6-2-1 :herewego!:. You're next Jacksonville, time for some payback.

Agree, and tbh I was in the camp of people who thought some changes might have been necessary. It's been a great run, culminated by tonight's awesome showing by the offense. However, if Fournette is playing next week that will be the real test to see if this defense has really turned a corner, or if it's just a product of who they have played so far.

I still think Tomlin should be fired :) That doesn't mean I can't enjoy the wins.

No way they've had the Jags game circled on the schedule since the beginning of the season. They could be 0-8 and they'd still look to destroy them

But seriously, that’s just the way people are... if this behavior surprises you, I take it you don’t follow the stock market. When bad do bad, bad bad man. When good do good, good good or whatever

I think Bostic will have a little something for Fournette next week.

Keep Fournette in check and don’t turn the ball over. They do those 2 things and they should be fine.

Fournette isn’t any more dangerous than Macaffery was, less so I’d say.

There is a big difference if your a 190 -200 pd db trying to tackle a 240 pound rb running mean.

No way in heck is the Jagoff game a trap game. I think Ben will be so up for it and I think the defense will have a chip on their shoulder. This could be the start of a revenge tour, first the Jagoffs then The Cheat and again the Cheat in the playoffs. Sorry Jagoffs your not making it this year!!!!!!!!

In terms of match-ups, I see your point. In terms of quality of opposition, though, we've played 5 of the current top 11 scoring offenses in the league this year, as well as Baltimore who are 15th in soring.

It will be interesting to see how Fournette looks against the Colts coming back from injury. I think our rush D is better than last year now that Bostic had cemented himself, so we'll see.

I remember when people wondered if Ben would ever be an elite QB, like Eli Manning.

I would still fire Butler.....Super Bowl win...if the defense is not still trending UP..and in top 5.... I still think it might be time to move on.

Butler has turned this defense around in the last 3 or 4 weeks. When Shazier was in there the defense was very good. It just took a bit of time to make all the adjustments after his severe injury. Benching Burns went a long way also. The QB pressure has been outstanding lately as well. Why change anything right now?

They benched Burns and then put him back out on the field late in the game. Perhaps that was the reason that it was late in the game and nothing to lose. He looked like crap again.

    Great stats, thanks.

This really does help to highlight Ben’s inconsistencies. 8 games of perfect offset by as many horrible games.

It was fun to watch last night.
